What if you get superpowers in exchange for the trauma of a lifetime that left you disfigured? What if you find a group of similar people possessing superpowers with a disfigured face? Will you become their friend and try to save the world, or will you live with your trauma from the accident?
Directed by Chris Manley and Kristin Windell, the sci-fi superpower series titled “Doom Patrol,” focuses on a group of oppressed and traumatized superheroes who received powers through tragic circumstances that left them disfigured, leading to them getting shunned by society.
The first person to become a member of the superhero team was Kay Challis, popularly known as Crazy Jane, who suffers from dissociative identity disorder, and her body has the power to turn into gelatin.
The series has an overwhelmingly positive response, with viewers feeling it is the only thing worth watching on DC’s streaming services. The series has managed to hold its position with the audience through its return with a brand new season.

Doom Patrol Season 4 Episode 8 – Recap
The episode starts with the Doom Patrol picking themselves up after Isabel explodes the Orqwith, a pocket dimension, with her scream that ended the lives of Wally, Dr. Janus, and Torminox.
Meanwhile, Dorothy checks on a crestfallen Casey, who is in shock as she lost both her creator and dad in the explosion of Orqwith, while Jane continues to be mad at Cliff. Deric and Vic decide to return home after realizing the situation.
After Deric leaves, Vic joins the group and discusses the possibility of Isabel being Immortus and whether or not she is a threat to the group. The superhero group tries to gain Isabel’s attention by calling her Immortus, but she only responds to her name. Isabel at the same time, a truck driver pulls in front of the group, recognizing Isabel.
Isabel fuck up the interview after answering that she was on her trip through time and space, and her realization of it all was a construct after the host asked her, where she was during the period of her disappearance.
After realizing that she has messed up by admitting everything on national television, Isabell rewinds time in an attempt to make things right by redoing that moment with the host. Meanwhile, Cliff runs to the fridge to check for the frozen baby Were-butt. Unfortunately, the baby Were-butt has gone missing, raising problems for people.
Meanwhile, Casey still struggles with losing her dad, and Dorothy continues to console her by bringing her to her late dad’s spaceship, which requires apples to run while Vic and Laura are on Rita’s side as the trio decides to attend a parade organized in town for Isabel.
Meanwhile, Keeg and Larry find a disassembled version of Rama that has made its way into their rooms while Cliff continues to frantically search for the frozen were-butt. After several similar moments, the episode ends with Coverton’s mayor informing Isabel that she’s not receiving the city’s key, and she meant that she was responsible for handing over the key to Dooms Patrol.
Isabel has a hissy fit after the mayor informs her about desiring to designate a holiday in their name. The episode ends with Isabel screaming after she becomes incredibly jealous of the attention shift towards the Doom Patrol.

The upcoming new episode of Dooms Patrol will pick up from Isabel screaming at the celebration for Dooms Patrol for the rescue mission they did involving her.
The episode will witness the team of superheroes trying to figure out how to deal with Isabel, as everything goes haywire every time she screams.
