Digimon Ghost Game Episode 29 is about to be released very soon, as fans are hungry for more even after the recent release of Episode 28. Here is everything you need to know to keep up with the new episode drop! The border between humans and Digimon has blurred throughout Digimon Ghost Game. However, this is hardly the first time these lines have been blurred in the franchise. The kids in Digimon Frontier transform into Digimon, for instance. In Digimon Ghost Game, however, the opposite is true. It’s the Digimon that are evolving and having more human-like traits. It is safe to assume that the series is trying to convey the message about breaking boundaries.
The show that is seemingly for children is enjoyed by young adults and adults as well. The show’s premise is straightforward: Hiro is a middle-school student whose father has left him an unusual device. In the show’s universe, tales of strange phenomena abound on the internet, ranging from ghosts that speed up the aging process to vandalized photos on social media that correspond to the real-world disappearance of the objects messed with in the images. Hiro’s father had given him a Digivice, a gizmo that allows him to see and communicate with the rumors’ perpetrators, renegade Digimon. Hiro searches for and stops Digimon from causing havoc in the real world with the help of his new Digimon buddy Gammamon and other friends. The simple show can be enjoyed by all ages as there is barely anything that can go wrong with cute animal-like beings that can communicate with humans.

Digimon Ghost Game Episode 28 Recap
The 28th Episode is titled “Face Taker,” and it features the holographic ghost, Asuramon. The beginning of the Episode introduces the new concept of Hologram ghosts, which are the new kinds of evolved paranormal beings. The next scene depicts Kotaru, one of Hiro’s dorm mates, being captured by Asuramon and other Kongoumon in the cemetery. They proceed to take the child’s face.
When others discover that Kotaru hasn’t come out of his room for two days, they go to investigate and find him sitting on the floor by his bed with a strange eye mask on, he seems to be very motionless, and as he falls without having any more support, it is revealed to the others that his face is gone. Word travels around about Kotaro to the Digimons as well. The next day, Hiro visits the cemetery with Kiyoshiro, Angoramon, and Ruri to look for the doll Kotaro had dropped last night after his encounter. Meanwhile, Asuramon and Kongoumon go around stealing more people’s faces, turning them into lifeless, worn-out bodies. The hologram ghost seemingly steals the faces of its victims, and along with that, they steal their personalities as well as useful qualities. Mushmon is the one who is leading Asuramon and Kongoumon to all of their victims.
The next day, when Kiyoshiro and Ruri visit the cemetery again, they encounter Asuramon, who proceeds to take Kiyoshiro’s and Ruri’s faces draining them of life. Angoramon is left helpless and defeated by the bigger hologram ghost. Hiro decides to go locate the monster. Meanwhile, Asuramon gets more powerful after stealing so many faces. It goes on a rampage around town, taking everybody’s faces. When Mushmon decides to ditch the two hologram ghosts, he is confronted by Hiro and Angoramon, who ask about Asuramon’s den, his whereabouts, and his plans. With the help of Kausgammamon, Hiro ventured to put a stop to the havoc Asuramon was creating. Kausgammomon super-evolves into Canoweissmon to stop the ghost.
During a fierce showdown, Canoweissmon de-evolves and turns back to Kausgammamon, making him easier to defeat, and in the act of protecting the Digimon, Hiro’s face gets taken too. After wearing Hiro’s face, a sense of pure justice takes over Asuramon, as the ghost appears to take over the emotion of the face it is wearing. Angoramon takes the chance and requests the holographic ghost to release everyone’s faces, which it agrees to do so, not without much hesitation. The episode ends peacefully with Angoramon inviting Asuramon to their gatherings for him to be able to better experience human emotions peacefully rather than putting everyone in harm’s way, and the ghost agrees to it. The concluding quote for the episode by Angoramon is, “The face is the window to the soul. A house without a window is not a house. Don’t remove them, don’t replace them.”
