One day, he comes across Ji Eun Tak, a girl who can see ghosts, and grew up listening to them that she’s a goblin’s bride.
Does Goblin K-drama Have A Sad Ending?
We can’t really say that Goblin k-drama has a sad ending as it ends on an open note. In fact, throughout the k-drama, there are many parts of the story that’ll leave you gasping for air and running out of tears. “Goblin The Lonely And Great God” has its own moment where the show is the funniest out of all the other k-dramas, but at moments it becomes heartbreaking as well. As “Goblin The Lonely And Great God” approached its ending, we all thought that Kim Shin would finally rest in peace now. What Happened To Kim Shin and Go Eun Tak At The End of “Goblin The Lonely And Great God”?
After all the years, Kim Shin and Eun Tak finally got married in the field of buckwheat flowers. The two vowed to love each other until death did them apart. And at that moment, everyone thought that the two would live happily ever after, but everything changed. The next day, starting their new life together, Eun Tak heads to work. But on the other side, the grim reapers, including Wang Yeo, received a bunch of name cards of souls they needed to pick up. But it got canceled. But how did it happen?
Eun Tak was at the traffic light telling Kim Shin that she was on her way home. And as soon as she turned right to see a dump truck ready for the bus the children were getting on. Deciding to save the children, Eun Tak pulled the car in between and got hit by the truck instead. During her last moments, Eun Tak calls it fate because everything had been perfect throughout the day. Sitting in front of Wang Yeo in the tea room, Eun Tak hugged Kim Shin goodbye. She didn’t drink the tea.
30 years Later…
Kim Shin went on to live another long life. Moving forward to 30 years later, he was in Quebec, sitting by the tombstone. A girl holding a dandelion comes behind him, saying that she found him. Turning his head, Kim Shin found a high school Eun Tak standing there. The two looked at each other, with both of their eyes filled with tears.
