Shin-yu is extremely affluent and frequently in the media. However, as was previously mentioned, he is cursed, which causes him to have an illness. The right side of his body is immobilized as a result of this illness.
Hon-jo makes valiant attempts in vain to unlock the box’s lock. Eventually, the lock opens by itself.
As Jae Gyeong waits, Hong-jo prepares one of the love potions from the book. Shin-yu, however, suffers the consequences. Hong-jo and Shin-yu both go to a village in episode 3.
Destined With You Season 2: Everything We Know
Netflix and the production crew have not yet made any announcements regarding Destined With You’s Season 2. There are 16 episodes total in Destined With You Season 1, 15 of which have already been made public.
But season 1 is already a hit with the audience, and they can’t wait for season 2. They are anticipating the release of every episode from season 1. Perhaps they won’t reveal anything about season 2 until they have looked through the previous season’s ratings and reviews.
The typical gap between seasons in Korean television programs is one or two years. Fans can, therefore, anticipate the release of season 2 of the show somewhere between 2024 and 2025. Fans will need to wait till that time.
What Happened In Destined With You Season 1?
Jung-beom, after opening her eyes to show that she hadn’t been drugged and that Sam-sik had called the police, Hong-jo runs away from Jung-beom, who had attempted to force the two to get married before “going together” to the “next life.” The antagonist eventually ties up the civil servant after an exciting chase.
As we move forward, the cops can track down Jung-beam and Hong-jo just as they are attempting to have a “soul marriage.” As a result, the bad guy is captured, and a distraught Sin-yu is left to see that his poisoned colleague is taken to the hospital.
Se-heon is delaying giving his blessing for the civil servant’s relationship with his son, so Hong-jo will still have to deal with him when she is awake. However, after the legal counsel spills the beans about the conception dream Eun-wol had, Sin-yu shocks the obstinate businessman.
In a different setting, Jung-beam starts to answer questions from the police and admits that he killed his wife because she was grinning at another man.
It is revealed that Min-ho published a video of Na-yeon being questioned about her transgressions as Sam-sik expresses guilt for giving Jung-be an excuse when the latter’s wife had already passed away. To the chagrin of the Mayor, Sin-yu simultaneously submits his resignation from City Hall.
Na-yeon goes to confront Hong-jo after being enraged by Hyun-seo’s rejection, the video upload, and her father’s phone calls. The civil worker is shocked when Na-yeon is detained for allegedly “assisting and abetting” Jung-beom’s “escape,” but she is no longer alarmed by the insults directed at her.
Jae-gyeong testifies in court against the Mayor and Hyun-Seo, who are being investigated about the Mount Onjo development. Sin-yu is ultimately given control of the region, while Jae-gyeong is being sought after by politicians as a result of his whistleblowing.
Following the wedding of Seo-goo and Eun-young, we learn that Sin-yu has been “completely healed like a miracle,” which he attributes to the curse having been broken. In other places, Yoon-joo begins acting with Kim Wook, who is now better supported by her husband.
While Sin-yu offers his defence of Sam-sik, Hong-jo sincerely bids Jae-gyeong farewell in preparation for his house transfer. However, Sin-yu will take Jae-gyeong’s place on the first level, which means that they now officially share a residence.
Yoon-joo then admits over lunch that she will be expecting a daughter and that Eun-wol’s conception dream was really about her. Then, we advance to the beach, where Sin-yu pops the question to Hong-jo, and the two formally tie the knot.
The episode and the series come to an end after the wooden box is buried once more, and a scene of Hong-jo and Sin-yu being happy in each other’s company is shown. Or is that the case? In a post-credits sequence, Sin-yu is shown opening the box, taking the spellbook out of it, and leaving.
