Deadline Hollywood reported on July 25, 2023, that co-executive producer Albert Alarr is the subject of a misconduct investigation. After Alarr was accused of misconduct, the investigation was started. Thirty to forty people were interviewed, most of them were women.
It was said that Alarr’s behavior “had been present for years” and only got worse after he was appointed co-executive producer in 2015. Alarr was also described as “abusive” in the report, leaving people feeling “uncomfortable and humiliated”.
A “significant number of women who have left the show over the past couple of years including actresses who played major characters” were mentioned in the article along with Alarr’s alleged misconduct, and male actors were allegedly “bullied” on the set.
