ABC’s Dancing With the Stars is going to be celebrating one of the most iconic American singers of all time, Whitney Houston. Now that only half of the original couples of Season 32 are left, the competition is going to get more challenging and fun.
This season of the dancing show turned out to be quite special as it featured many well-known celebs and other people like Lele Pons, Matt Walsh, Mauricio Umansky (Kyle Richard’s husband), and even Britney Spears’ sister, Jamie Lynn Spears.
Tyra Banks no longer returned for the judge’s role in Dancing With the Stars season 32, despite being a regular for the past three seasons. Instead of Banks, Alfonso Ribeiro was going to be taking care of the scores for this season. Along with him, Julienne Hough and many guest judges will be a part of the panel.
Recap
The last few episodes of Dancing With The Stars have been filled with different festive performances along with a Ballroom dancing experience. For the Monster Night episode, all of the professional dancers and the celebs showed up with spooky makeup and costumes.
Although this couple gave their best performance, Monster Night ended up being the last episode for the couple, Mauricio and Emma. They performed a Paso Double on Rockwell’s “Somebody’s Watching Me,” which sadly didn’t impress the judges, and they scored the lowest.
The highest-scoring dancer-celeb couple for this episode was Jason and Daneilla, who performed contemporary dance moves on the song “Zombie” by The Cranberries.
Episode 7 of Dancing With The Stars season 32 was a Music Video Night, where famous singer and dancer Paula Abdul was the special guest judge. This episode had the celebrities and singers training to compete in a group dancing event while being guided by experts in the field.
Ariana & Pasha, Jason & Danielle, and the others had to learn new dance mediums and become a part of an entertaining team dance. Ariana and Pasha performed a Cha-cha-cha dance and scored the highest, giving them immunity from the dreaded dance-offs, which we’ll be seeing this week.
Winning the Music Video Night gave Ariana and Pasha the chance to score more points for any of their next performances. Lele Pons and Brandon showcased a powerful salsa dance. However, they were the ones to be eliminated last week.
They performed on Shakira’s “Whenever, Wherever” and didn’t manage to perform any new moves despite being one of the top-scoring couples since the beginning of the season. As we near the finale of Dancing With the Stars, it will get harder for the judges to choose the couple that will be going home.
