A month after the release of Modern Warfare 2, Call of Duty Season 1: Reloaded’s midseason debut has finally arrived. The mid-season rollout of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has, like previous patches, provided more features and modified the gameplay and mechanics.
Even if the top Modern Warfare 2 weaponry isn’t likely to change with the upcoming big update, we’re still eager to test out our favorite Modern Warfare 2 load-outs. Particularly when it comes to finally experience the Modern Warfare 2 Raids that Activision has hinted at since the game’s release.
This update will be the biggest yet and will contain a new weapon, Raids, and many of the quality-of-life requests that have been made. What may be expected from Season 1 Reloaded, and when will it be available?
Season 1 Reloaded MW2 Release Time
Modern Warfare 2 Season 1 Reloaded was released on 15 December 2022. Like most significant Modern Warfare 2 updates, this debuted on Wednesday, with the customary lesser patches and balancing tweaks showing up during seasons. On the same day, Warzone 2 Season 1 Reloaded has also been released, giving those of you who currently plays one of the top Battle Royale games the chance to check out some brand-new stuff there as well.
The creators of the new games will host an additional Double Weapon XP and Double XP event at launch to celebrate the release of the first mid-season patch. The rewards are available to players starting on December 15 at 10 a.m. PDT.
However, thanks to the current exclusivity agreement between Activision and Sony, PlayStation gamers will be able to claim their XPs as soon as the update goes online. On December 19, at 10 a.m. Pacific Time, all platforms will have finished the event.
Special Ops Raid: Atomgrad
Three-player teams will face off against AI enemies in the new Special Ops missions known as raids. Players are tasked with assisting Price, Farah, and Gaz in the very first-ever raid, Atomgrad, in their quest to find the information hidden inside a well-guarded enemy base. It continues the Modern Warfare 2 story by putting your squad in a bunker deep underground.
The gameplay in the trailer appears to be more tactical and entails a lot of swimming. A tougher difficulty playlist and a new Operator Gaz are both unlocked for those who successfully complete the Raid. Along with “interesting data” about the Modern Warfare 2 universe, the Raid itself is loaded with information that grants extra cosmetics.
Soccer And Warzone Cup
The soccer celebrations are still going strong. On the Al Easima Field, the home of a member of Al Mazrah’s football team’s league opponents, two groups of three Operators will compete against one another in the new, limited-time Warzone Cup playlist.
You can use specialized ATVs with pulse capability to drive a large football into the opposing team’s goal. Shock Sticks can be used to stop opponents, or you can boost through hostile cars to ram them out of the way. The match is decided by which team scores five goals first or which team has scored far more goals at the end of the allotted five minutes.
For those who prefer the more conventional battle royale games, there is another temporary playlist called Mini Royale. It is a tactical, compressed version of battle royale, except in Al Mazrah, there are fewer players and narrower safe zones. You may expect earlier and relatively close engagements and significantly shorter matches because things will be moving a bit faster here.
Social Features
Finding squadmates is also set to become much simpler. The new Groups social function will enable you to discover or establish communities of like-minded gamers using anything from your preferred gaming mode to your extracurricular hobbies. Groups can be categorized based on their preferred game modes, whether they are for experienced or beginning players or even more general topics like gaming, entertainment, and sports.
Alternatively, you can establish the group’s tone by specifying your level of competition or casualness and how frequently you play. There are also additional general categories available, such as whether the Group is associated with a streamer or a Call of Duty League squad.
Up to 5,000 people can join any group, allowing for the creation of sizable, thriving communities. Once a Group is formed, its members can communicate with one another through the group’s own text channels, search for other players, and organize parties in Warzone 2.0.
