Being the old him was hard for him. He was completely out of it. He was unable to be reinstated and even his family seemed to be out of step with him.
Ruzek was having so much trouble that he returned to his old behaviors. He resumed his gaming, and he used an old covert alias even though he knew he shouldn’t have since he had issues with it in the past. He made contact with an undercover agent. They went to an undercover poker game together, which ended badly.
Recap
Before diving into Chicago PD Season 11 Episode 3, let’s quickly recap and review the last episode. Adam committed a number of serious mistakes. When he wasn’t reinstated, he went undercover. He committed a crime by using a criminal informant in a game that was restricted.
And because the game did go south, he shot an unregistered gun. Two men appeared and demanded money. A man who was being robbed reached for his firearm.
A shooting took place, leaving two people dead. Soon after Ruzek started shooting at the masked men with his secret gun, they managed to get away. Thus, Ruzek’s career might be over as a result of what happened that evening.
Just after all of this, Ruzek gave Voight a call. Ruzek was urged to leave the scene by Voight. Ruzek obeyed his command to act as though he had never been there.
After that, Voight was able to take control of the case. He prevented the takeover by robbery and murder. Though Ruzek’s bullets warned IAD, he could not hide Ruzek’s involvement in all of this.
Later on, they stopped by Voight’s workplace and spoke to him. While he was defending Ruzek, Detective Burgess was interrogating him. Ruzek and Burgess were living together and they were co-parenting a daughter.
When Voight abruptly took control of the case, Burgess sensed a problem and IAD’s appearance confirmed her suspicions. Voight informed her of Ruzek’s participation in the poker match.
When she questioned Ruzek about it afterward, he played down what might have happened. He said that he had been approached by an old friend who was having problems. He made it seem as though he attended the game to maintain his police career.
However, that was untrue, he went to the game hoping to get a high from gambling. A lot more happened in previous episodes, but now let’s discuss when Episode 3 of Chicago PD Season 11 will be released and what will happen in it.
