With a fresh name, “Who Broke the Story,” the new version of the traditional format will concentrate on details about Black pop culture. Celebrity Squares, produced by Kevin Hart’s Hartbeat and Jesse Collins Entertainment, takes elements from the previous hit show and presents them in a fresh, entertaining way for a modern audience.
The show would bring together famous celebrities for “20 fun and unexpected half-hour episodes.” Among the famous people scheduled to appear are Tiffany Haddish, Babyface, Kirk Franklin, Bobby Brown, Luenell, Bresha Webb, Taye Diggs, and many others.
Celebrity Squares Plot
Before diving into Celebrity Squares Episode 1, let’s quickly talk about the show. Celebrity Squares pairs up with two people to play Tic-Tac-Toe while trying to earn money and rewards. The program was resurrected twice in distribution, first between 1986 and 1989 and again from 1998 to 2004. The fan-favorite is presently available to watch for free on Pluto TV’s Hollywood Squares channel.
