Whereas, Kikka had the same development as well. She told her illusion that she may have been selfish in the past, but now she has accepted it, thanks to Hiyoko, and she is moving forward as well.

As previously mentioned, episode 9 of Build Divide: Code White was focused on Naomitsu and Kikka getting over their past and moving on. While both were fighting their past, they told Hiyoko to move on and get to Teruto. She has managed to climb the tower alone and without any obstacles. However, now she faces her master Teruto. While she was trying to save him, she saw that Teruto was captured just as Kikka was once. Teruto was proud to see her and figured that she had gotten stronger as well. However, when Hiyoko tries to save Teruto from the trap, it seems like Teruto is being controlled by something called “Bloom”.
Furthermore, Teruto asked Hiyoko to give her power to him. As we know, in the right state, Teruto would never ask such a thing, but now when he is being controlled by something, it seems it is Teruto himself. It does not matter how pleased Hiyoko is to see Teruto and feels sorry for leaving him alone. She is ready to fight. In order to get Teruto down from the trap, she will have to be tough.
