Buddy Games: The Premise
With season one of the show all set to be released soon, fans have raised quite a few questions related to the plot of the show. Here, we will have a total of six teams, with all teams having four friends overall, that will play and take part in unique mental and physical games and challenges. The show has taken inspiration from Josh Duhamel’s childhood, who is also the host of the show.
Throughout the filming of the show, the six teams will be put up in a lake house where they will get to bunk and live together. So, basically, the premise of the show is eerily similar to all of our childhood fantasies, which involved living in the same house with our best friends and playing all kinds of games all day.
These friends on the show have apparently been friends for a big part of their lives, and the one thing they all share is a common summer camp experience. Gone are the days when these grown friends could join summer camps, but this show will be a great way for them to relive that part of their lives, indulging in childish rivalry and futile fights.
The six teams that will be participating in the show are Philly Forever, Pageant Queens, Team Ok, Team Pride, Chicago’s Finest, and Derby Squad. Much like the other game shows, this one also has a prize at the end to keep the teams motivated.
The last standing team would get the Buddy Games trophy, a prize none of the teams would want to lose and a cash prize, that the winning team can divide equally among themselves. Oh, the winning team will also get the right to rub their victory in the losing team’s faces, so that should be fun.
Buddy Games: Episode Release Date
The first episode of season one of the show, Buddy Games, is all set to be revealed to fans on Thursday, 14th September 2023. The episodes will run for no longer than an hour and are presumed to be put out on a weekly basis.
