With the ever-increasing following, the k-pop star has surpassed many renowned artists and celebrities on the social media app. There used to be a time when the private accounts of the boys of BTS didn’t exist. All the fans had was the official account of Bighit Entertainment. But 5 months ago, the seven boys announced that they’ll be finally getting their solo Instagram accounts. The fans rejoiced with happiness and they went on to follow their idols.

The analyzer gives the “Influencer Statistics” sets the cost of an influencer. The site has the data on the accounts that have more than a hundred followers and a good enough engagement. Putting Taehyung’s name in ‘SPEARKJ’, the site revealed all the data about engagement and the sponsorships the k-pop idol gets.
According to the calculations, V aka Kim Taehyung gets over $773,000 (960 million won) per post per sponsorship post. The BTS star also has an engagement rate of 32%, with an average of 12.9 million likes per post.

Just in 125 days into opening his Instagram account, Taehyung gained over 40 million followers. The BTS star’s personal Instagram account (@thv) became the fastest person in the Instagram’s history to achieve the record. Having the highest brand value on Instagram and having surpass other renowned celebrities who have been in the game for a long time. With that Kim Taehyung has now earned the title of ‘The King of Instagram’. Just a week ago, a video of V dancing alone at a jazz bar somewhere in the States that the idol shared himself, gained 20 million views in 13 hours.
The video even became the second video all over the world to have the huge number of views in less time. V has also entered the ‘most liked pictures on the Instagram’ chart. And he’s the only Asian celebrity to make it in the list. With V being the 20th person on the list, it also includes Billie Eilish, Chadwick Boseman, Ronaldo, Ariana Grande, and Kylie Jenner. Recently a clip from BTS’s grammy performance also got viral on the internet.

‘SPEARKJ’ also went on to present the statistics of other well known celebrities whom Taehyung has surpassed. While celebrities like Chritiano Ronaldo, Kendal Jenner, Kylie, Zendaya, and Messi have the follower count going up to 300 million to 400 million. Their engament and sponserships rates are pretty low comparitvely to Taehyung. While Ronaldo and Messi holds the Instagram engagement of over 2%. The Jenner sisters only reach 3% and Zendaya makes it to 6%.
Here’s the calculation of their global brand value on the social media platform, Cristiano Ronaldo ($451,000), Kylie Jenner ($514 thousand), Selena Gomez ($226,000), Kendall Jenner ($362,000), Zendaya ($528 thousand USD) and Leo Messi (308 thousand USD).
What About The Accounts of The Other BTS Members?
While V gets the most engagment and sponserships on the Instagram, its not the case with the rest of the boys of BTS. Jimin is not far behind with over 30% of engagement and almost similar sponsorship ratings as V. The leader of BTS i.e. Kim Namjoon barely gets any engagement or sponsorship as the idol barely posts on the Instagram. Kim Seok Jin and Jungkook gets around 31% of engagement while Suga gets similar the engagment as V. J Hope gets over 23% of engagement on his Instgram account.
