BTS Releases Yet To Come, Drops Their Anthology Album Proof
The journey started in June 2013 when a group debuted and walked into the music industry with souls filled with passion for music. Cut to 2022, and that group is the biggest musical act in the entire world.
BTS released their anthology album Proof, an album wrapped with bits of them from all these nine years. On 10th June, at 1 pm KST, they dropped their lead single, Yet To Come, along with the other brand new tracks.
Yet To Come is like a gift for the ARMYs, those who were with them from the beginning of their journey, and also those who recently discovered them. It is about reminiscing those times with understanding how far they have reached—gaining newer titles every single day, though at heart, they are still those kids who started due for just one sole reason- their love for music.
But they say we’re the best
Full of these unfamiliar names
Now they just feel heavy
We just loved music
We’re just running forward
The mv had numerous reference points from their previous works, where Jimin found his shoes just like in Spring Day, the Blood Sweat and Tears reference leading to the bus from their No More Dream era, from where all of it started. After the winter, finally, spring has arrived.
BTS currently dominates the music industry. However, in all these hustles, they have always remained true to themselves. They never started to meet the world’s expectations or titles to begin with. It was all about hope, dreaming, and moving forward.
We ain’t about it, the world’s expectations
We ain’t about it, that step of being the best
We ain’t about it, crowns and flowers, countless trophies
Dream & hope & goin’ forward, we so about it.
BTS and ARMYs have an undeniable bond. They shine when they are together, even on the darkest of nights. An ode to the fandom, For Youth, starts with ARMYs singing Forever Young and takes us back to the time when Armys in Wembly Stadium surprised BTS by singing it to them. For Youth emphasizes that whatever season it may be army has always been there for them. Remember once how Kim Namjoon mentioned, “I wish there was a better word than love,” well every member has their love language for ARMYs, which ultimately comes down to-
You’re my best friend
For the rest of my life
I am quite thankful that it was you dear
We’re shining because we are together, aren’t we
The record breakers have come a long way with their share of struggles. From those people who did not believe in them to proving everyone, the road was both rocky and beautiful. An up-tempo, hip-hop Run BTS is all about how even after so many struggles, from the bottom, they went on to become the top.
The reason Bangtan succeeded? I don’t know there’s no such thing as that
All of us have just run and worked to exhaustion
Whatever it is we did, we just ran
The answer is here haha,
Even to this date, when they stand in a global position, the effort they put into their work is still the same as when they just started. That’s what makes them such fascinating artists.
