BTS yet again became part of history as their song Fake Love reached 1.1 billion views. The video on Youtube currently has over 19 million likes along with 4.4 million comments. Just a few days back their song Boy With Luv surpassed 1.5 billion views, making it their first MV to do so.
The boys just completed their four days Permission To Dance concerts in Las Vegas. The amount of joy BTS and ARMY had was overwhelming. Whenever BTS and ARMY come together it’s a sight to behold. No wonder the entire city turned purple. On the work front, BTS is gearing themselves for their upcoming album launch and also are working on their respective music. This year we can expect to witness many more great collaborations and hopefully the mixtapes of some of the members. Meanwhile, the boys have returned from Vegas and have reached Korea safely.

BTS’ “Fake Love” Makes History As It Hit 1.1 Billion Views
BTS made history yet another time when their Fake Love MV reached 1.1 billion views on Youtube. It’s their 6th MV to achieve this feat. It goes without saying that BTS and the title history makers go hand in hand. For the unversed, BTS’ Love Yourself series is a four-part series that consists of three albums and Fake Love is the lead single of Love Yourself: Tear. It is no secret that BTS is known for the lyrics of their songs as they have the power to resonate with the masses. Fake Love is written by RM, Pdogg, and Hitman Bang Si-Hyuk. If looked closely at the albums of Love Yourself: Her to Lover Yourself: Answer, one will notice that these albums take one through the journey of love to heartbreak and ultimately make one realize the concept of self-love. RM in an interview mentioned how one’s love cannot last long if they don’t love themselves. Well, that’s true.
For you, I could pretend like I was happy when I was sad
For you, I could pretend like I was strong when I was hurt
The lyrics portray the emotions where the boys hide behind masks, however ultimately understand that it’s all Fake Love. The journey of loving another person starts from loving oneself. In the 2018 MAMA performance, their reflections portrayed them wearing masks which gave a clear indication that though they seem happy from the outside, it’s quite evident that they are hiding their true selves.
The mv holds numerous references from the BTS universe and for that one needs to go through the discography and even the webtoon Save Me. In the webtoon, Jin falls into a time loop and he’s the one who can save his other six friends from encountering their tragic fate. To say the least, it is just amazing how everything seems connected in each of their MVs. Some ARMYs couldn’t help but connect the dots between Fake Love and Film Out. Fake Love when released back in 2018 blew the charts and BTS performed the song at the Billboard Music Awards.

Upcoming Album Of BTS
It seems there is still a lot to unveil in the world of BTS as the history makers are all set to release their album We Are Bulletproof. They announced the dates on the 4th day of their PTD concert in Las Vegas.
Carrying on the tradition it seems the upcoming album will evoke a lot of newer theories, which already have been started brewing up. If one remembers a scene from Fake Love, the glass wall behind V said I’m Fine and when turned around it became Save Me. In the We Are Bulletproof album as well, ARMYs have made this point that if the WE is turned over it becomes ME. A month and a few days more before the album drops and with a BTS comeback we can’t wait to witness the boys blowing up the charts with their music.
