The upcoming 7th chapter of the Boruto manga spin-off series “Two Blue Vortex”, alternatively known as Boruto chapter 87, has a scheduled release date of Wednesday, February 21st, 2023.
The last chapter showed Shikamaru taking action as Hokage to uncover the truth about Boruto and Kawaki’s identities, by asking Ino to help establish mental communication with Boruto.
It also revealed Boruto telling Sarada and Sumire details about what transpired with Sasuke Uchiha and the evolved God Trees. Right after, Mitsuki learned of Boruto’s location and attacked him, setting up a fight between the former Team 7 members.
Spoilers and leaks for Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 7 are expected to surface on the internet 3-4 days prior to the official magazine release.
Potential Clash of Boruto and Mitsuki In Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 7
At the conclusion of the last chapter, Boruto and Shikamaru had begun communicating but were interrupted because Boruto had to go deal with the loose end of fighting Mitsuki.
So in the upcoming 7th chapter of “Two Blue Vortex,” readers can expect to see a battle unfold between Boruto and Mitsuki, who has entered Sage Mode.
Fans have been anticipating seeing Mitsuki utilize his long-teased Sage Mode abilities ever since they were first shown in the Boruto manga. It will be engaging to witness how Boruto fares against the power of Mitsuki’s heightened sage state.
Given Boruto’s confidence leading into the face-off, he may prove capable of defeating Mitsuki even while the latter is enhanced by Sage Mode.
Since it was disclosed in the manga that Boruto had joined forces with Kashin Koji, fans have speculated whether Boruto may have unlocked Sage Mode similar to Mitsuki during his absence from the Hidden Leaf Village.
So chapter 7 might finally unveil if Boruto has attained that advanced transformation.
If he has not achieved Sage Mode, the upcoming installment could showcase another new technique Boruto learned while training under Kashin Koji. Readers may see a flashback providing insight into that period of time away from the village.
Consequently, there is a strong possibility that the next chapter will concentrate heavily on Kashin Koji’s connections to Boruto’s development. Readers could gain more insight into Koji’s motives and methods.
If the fight scene between Boruto and Mitsuki concludes within chapter 7, there is a strong likelihood that Boruto and Shikamaru could resume the conversation that was interrupted.
Shikamaru Nara had grown suspicious that his memories were being manipulated. This distrust made him willing to accept that Boruto and Kawaki’s positions had been exchanged. So before being cut off, Shikamaru wished to listen to Boruto’s account of past events.
Therefore, the upcoming chapter may feature Boruto recounting previous occurrences to Shikamaru and clarifying how Eida’s omnipotent powers enabled the swap between Boruto and Kawaki.
Through this retelling, Shikamaru might also learn the truth behind Kawaki’s claim that Boruto killed the Seventh Hokage, Naruto Uzumaki – which was apparently a lie.
More About Boruto: Two Blue Vortex
Boruto: Two Blue Vortex is an ongoing monthly manga that serves as a direct continuation and Part II of the previous Boruto Naruto Next Generations manga. Like the first part, Two Blue Vortex is written by Masashi Kishimoto and drawn by Mikio Ikemoto.
On June 1st, 2023, it was announced that Part I of the Boruto manga, Boruto Naruto Next Generations, had reached its conclusion with the publication of Volume 20. Then in Issue #8 of V Jump magazine, it was revealed Part II would resume under the new title Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, starting in V Jump Issue #10.
Three years after being exiled from the village, Boruto returns to help defend against an attack led by Code.
He defeats Code but then is attacked by Kawaki, allowing Code to escape before Boruto can get information from him about the Ten-Tails. Boruto teleports to the dimension where Code and Ten-Tails are, with support from Koji Kashin.
He goes back to the village and reunites with Sarada and Sumire. Shikamaru realizes his memories of Kawaki being adopted by Naruto must be fabricated.
Based on Amado’s theory that someone has altered people’s memories, Shikamaru concludes this was likely done by Ino using her Mind Body Transmission jutsu. Suddenly, Boruto is attacked by Mitsuki.
