Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Episode 249 Recap
Episode 249 is titled “Burgeoning Hatred” in this episode, Denki and Iwabe have not returned from the Hidden Mist village where they obtained food. Boruto does not get the closure he seeks after killing Kagura’s killer, Funamushi, when the Shinobis capture a Funato prisoner. Denki and Iwabe report that Funamushi has imprisoned them after they return from the battle.
Boruto has taken aback because he had only died in battle the day before. He senses that something suspicious is up. As Boruto is walking through the forest, he comes across a child who is pursuing him in an attempt to kill him. Funamushi’s son is the one who has vowed to kill his father. Boruto is full of regret. When he questions the Funato POW, he discovers that Ikada is Lady Seiren’s brother.
