When an enemy attacks, he returns to help protect the village from enemies. It’s almost as if Sasuke won’t leave Leaf Village for good. He accepts Naruto’s ninja way but never resides in the village again. He only makes appearances when needed.

Since he was appointed Shadow Kage, he now works for Naruto’s Hokage office as a special ninja that tackles difficult missions outside the villages. Due to his Sharingan and rinnegan maxed levels, he can handle these missions that others cannot.
