Moreover, the ongoing twelfth season has been quite successful so far and has got the fans excited to watch Blue Bloods Season 12 Episode 19. However, let us take a quick look at the previous episode first.
Blue Bloods Season 12 Episode 18 Recap
Episode 18 of Blue Bloods Season 12 came out on 8th April 2022 and was titled “Long Lost”. The episode saw a woman lose her adopted son Jimmy after he was kidnapped while on his way to school. Danny and Maria visited Jimmy’s birth mom after she had sent a text to Robin the previous night to stay alert. She told that she was afraid that her ex named Tommy and Jimmy’s biological father, who had returned from prison, might try to get his son back. After this, Danny and Maria met Tommy once, and he told them that he didn’t know about Jimmy’s disappearance.
On the other hand, Erin reopened the case of the man named Ty Williams, who was in prison for years on account of the accusation of killing his girlfriend Julia, who was pregnant with someone else’s baby. This time, Erin and Anthony started the case from a different angle and went to see Maurice Bell, who was Ty’s best friend and possibly the man Julia had an affair with. Later on, they sat down with Maurice and his lawyer to discuss the case and possibly a deal to come clean after putting their findings forward that he killed Julia because he didn’t want her own girlfriend to find out about the affair or the baby.
During this conversation, Maurice said that Ty might have not killed Julia, but he has done far worse things than they could think of. Moving, Jamie was confused about whether to report Sergeant McNicholes, who punched Berner outside the department. However, Eddie told him to wait until she finds the reason for it, and he did so. Moreover, he got advice from his grandfather, too, about not going always by the rules and going with his heart sometimes.
Eventually, he came up with the plan to assign both McNicholes and Berner as each other’s partners, which also solved the issue McNicholes had with Berner. While Frank was under a lot of pressure to consider marine captain Chuck’s recruitment into the NYPD on his request and his popularity, he went with his gut and denied him. He thought that even though Chuck had all the combat skills, being a police officer out there didn’t always require a soldier. On the other end, Danny and Maria eventually found Jimmy with Tommy, and Tommy easily surrendered as he was happy to have connected with his son.
