Synopsis
Farah (Demet Zdemir), our female protagonist, is a 28-year-old woman from Iran. Six years ago, Farah had to make a stop in Istanbul on her way from Iran to France after learning that she had gotten pregnant. After learning about her pregnancy, she starts living in Istanbul as an illegal immigrant.
In addition to this, her son Kerimşah (Rastin Pakhanad) was born with a unique illness. Kerimşah is susceptible to infections since his immune system has been weak ever since he was born. He must therefore live in a sterile setting, limiting his mobility. Despite having a degree in medicine, Farah works as a cleaner in Istanbul to support the health of her son.
Her son Kerimşah’s health and ability to lead an ordinary childhood are Farah’s life’s priorities. To finish her son’s treatment without any casualties and travel to France safely, Farah is determined to collect money quickly. But overnight, it seems that Farah’s entire world is turned upside down.
She meets Tahir Lekesiz (Engin Akyürek), our male lead, while cleaning up an area, and also ends up witnessing a mafia murder. At the risk of her own life, Farah cleans the area and leaves quietly in hopes of covering up her tracks.
However, because she was a witness to the crime, the mafia wants her dead, and Tahir is assigned to carry out the task. Tahir, who spent his early years growing up with the mafia boss, is a lonely man. When Farah learns that the deceased is a police officer, things get even more challenging for her.
She cannot keep things to herself once knowing a government official has been murdered. Mehmet (Frat Tanş), on the other side, is exerting pressure on the police. In this situation where survival is at stake, Tahir and Farah will also be tested by the feelings they can’t avoid. Will their love have the chance of blossoming in such a trying environment?
My Name Is Farah Episode 4 Brief Recap (Spoilers!)
In Episode 4 of Benim Adim Farah, Tahir is seen firing the gun instead of Farah, creating a new issue between Aga and Tahir. Has the kinship between the two finally ended, making way for hostility? Tahir would pay a steep price for pointing the gun at Aga.
Tahir, however, is the only one who can help Farah survive in such difficult times. Both Farah and Kerimşah are under Tahir’s protection, but neither one of them have any idea that Kerimşah has told Mehmet everything.
