The Storyline Of The Movie
It was the beginning of the 1st century. Judah Ben-Hur is at first, a rich Jewish prince and merchant of Jerusalem. The new governor, as well as his old friend Messala, arrives as the commanding officer of the Roman legions. They met after a long time and thus were very happy to see each other. But later on, their different political thinking separated them.
When the welcome parade was going on, a mishappening occurred. From Judah’s house, a roof tile fell down, which injures the governor. Although it was not his mistake, Messala conspired and sent him to the galleys. Messala also sent Judah’s family to prison. This made Judah extremely angry, and he promised that he will come back and take his revenge. It brought a big change in his life. The further story of the movie shows how Ben-Hur managed to come out, how he becomes a champion charioteer, and how he takes his revenge.
