ABC’s spinoff of The Bachelor and Bachelorette at a tropical beach with all those who had a bad time, a failed relationship, or were rejected in those main franchises get a second chance at love by being locked up in a beach resort in Bachelor in Paradise’s ninth season.
And what a season so far it’s been; there are self-eliminations, drama, hot, steamy, censored sex, and even some egos getting bruised. All of these men and women have high expectations; they are there to meet someone and have a chance at love, and things aren’t easy.
With roses changing hands, dates coming and going, people being sent home, and the hot tropical sun melting down the ice on the drinks, all we need to do is sit down and watch how the pheromones, impulses, and egos take hold of these people.
Bachelor In Paradise Season 9 Episode 4 Recap
Things in paradise are not quite as they seem. You have to give it to the producers; it is a disturbingly perfect tropical paradise; the problem is the people that inhabit it. This whole season gives me reminiscences of Danny Boyle’s “The Beach” with Leonardo DiCaprio and Tilda Swinton, to be honest.
In the fourth episode, we saw how Aaron, Shanae, James, and Genevieve came back from their double date with double the doubts, double the drama, and double the trouble.
Furthermore, Justin’s not happy about a birthday party. And what to say of Jared and Ashley rekindling the passion in the “boom boom room”? I guess there was a lot of banging there. I hope the staff changes the sheets! In week three, the girls give out the roses. And the dudes are in danger of going home at the following ceremony.
Remember those two self-eliminations? Well, the beach didn’t get any new bachelors or bachelorettes. Now, who’s coming to break the odd numbers? We’re going to have to wait and see.
Rodney used his date card, and Teddi went home. So Rodney stayed to mingle with the girls and have some beers with the boys.
Here’s the breakdown of the couples as of now: Serene and Brandon are getting it on. Ashley and Jared are still together, and Rodney and Lace are very hot and steamy. Shanael and Logan are a mess. Aaron and Genevieve are starting to hit things off. And Johnny and Victoria are trying to see if they have a connection.
