Atomic Heart has made a strong comeback on Steam in Russia and the CIS, entering the regional sales charts shortly after its release on Valve’s platform. The sci-fi action game from Mundfish ranked among the top-selling titles following its return to Steam after previously being unavailable in the region.

According to Steam’s weekly sales rankings covering July 28 to August 4, Atomic Heart secured the No. 4 position among all products by revenue, placing behind free-to-play giants Dota 2, Counter-Strike 2, and survival hit Rust. The game also reached No. 2 among paid games, only trailing Rust.

Atomic Heart’s Steam release generated attention despite criticism from some players. Before its Steam return in Russia and CIS markets, the PC version was primarily available through VK Play in those regions.

The game launched without discounts but still managed to attract significant sales, showing continued interest from players. Some Steam users criticized Mundfish’s return to Valve’s storefront, while others welcomed easier access to the title.

The latest Steam rankings also included games such as Mistfall Hunter, PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS, Baldur’s Gate 3, Zenless Zone Zero, and Escape from Tarkov, highlighting Atomic Heart’s ability to compete against established releases.
