Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced has generated an estimated $245.9 million in premium revenue, according to Alinea Analytics’ latest 2026 ranking. The estimate covers revenue across Steam, Xbox, and PlayStation, placing Ubisoft’s remake eighth among the games tracked by Alinea.

The figure puts Black Flag Resynced ahead of several other major 2026 releases, including College Football 27, which Alinea estimates at $264.1 million, and places it below NBA 2K27 at $309.1 million and 007 First Light at $320.1 million. Because Alinea’s figures are estimates, they should not be treated as official Ubisoft revenue disclosures.

Black Flag Resynced Quickly Became a Major 2026 Release

Ubisoft released Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced on July 9, 2026, more than 13 years after the original Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. The remake was rebuilt from the ground up using the latest version of Ubisoft’s Anvil Engine and launched on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Its commercial performance was strong from the beginning. Ubisoft announced that Black Flag Resynced sold 2 million copies on its first day, while its Steam version reached a peak of 99,451 concurrent players. That gave it the highest peak concurrent player count ever recorded for an Assassin’s Creed game on Steam at the time.

Just one week after launch, Ubisoft announced that the remake had surpassed 3 million copies sold worldwide. The company also highlighted positive player reception and post-launch updates, including quality-of-life improvements and a planned New Game+ mode.

Black Flag Resynced retains Edward Kenway’s Caribbean adventure while adding modern visual and gameplay upgrades. Ubisoft has introduced ray tracing, improved water simulation, dynamic weather, enhanced combat and stealth, alongside new story content involving characters such as Blackbeard and Stede Bonnet.

The remake also expands beyond the original game with additional narrative content and new endgame material, giving Ubisoft more ways to build on one of the franchise’s most recognizable entries.

With an estimated $245.9 million in premium revenue, Black Flag Resynced has now established itself as one of 2026’s notable commercial releases while demonstrating the continued demand for Ubisoft’s classic Assassin’s Creed titles.
