The wait is over fellow otakus. The game, Arknights will not remain just a game anymore. Arknights: Prelude To Dawn Official Trailer has been finally released. The Chinese mobile game developed by Hypergryph is getting a Japanese Anime Adaptation. And Yostar Pictures is going to animate Arknights: Prelude to Dawn. The news of working on the anime adaptation of Arknights was first announced in November 2021, which later on got concrete during Arknights’ Japanese 2nd Anniversary Livestream event on 9 January, 2022. It was good that we got to play as the main characters in the Arknights game. But did we ever think about what might be going inside these characters’ heads throughout the game? Sometimes, we get too busy playing that we forget to feel the emotions. But, soon that is going to change as we are going to feel every bit of it in the anime.
Arknights: Prelude to Dawn Official Trailer has already given us a little spark of emotions. And as soon as the Anime will be released, the little spark will definitely turn into a huge fire wave. We surely can’t wait to get drowned in that wave. But, before that let’s look into the little details of the trailer and talk about the storyline we are going to get.

Yuki Watanabe is going to direct the anime and Masataka Nishikawa will be right by his side as the assistant director. They both worked on the game’s promotional short videos which assure us that the animation of the anime is going to just as much fire as the game’s animation videos. We hope Tomoyo Kurosawa and Takashi Matsuyama will get the role of Amiya and Ace respectively because of what they did in the game, we want the same or better in the anime too. The voice of the characters matter. And they did a great job in the game. We hope to see them in the anime as well.

We can observe this much in the trailer that, the people of Rhodes island are done staying silent to avoid conflicts. They are ready for the battle of survival. They are ready to fight for their home. This is going to be epic. We all are already getting the chills, aren’t we?
Arknights: Prelude To Dawn – Storyline
By the looks of Arknights: Prelude To Dawn Official Trailer, it is pretty sure that the anime is going to follow the storyline of the game. And this story is about a fantasy world, Terra. People of Terra have to live like nomads because their world is suffering from rare catastrophes. One of the charming points is going to be the Kemonomimi features of the people of Terra. They show the characteristics of animals of mythological races. Getting back to the story, because of these catastrophes people are getting infected by a disease called Oripathy. This is due to a mineral called Originium which is left behind by these catastrophes.
Even though Oripathy causes death to its victims, it also provides them some powers called ‘Arts’. Now, this story is going to give what reality gives us, that is, Discrimination caused by fear. The Infected are feared by the Non-Infected and hence the battle begins. Even though the infected are at no fault, they still are treated as bad people.

What To Expect In This Anime?
It is quite obvious that if there is a disease spreading, then there has to be a search for a cure too. But, is it going to be that easy? Surely not. We have seen enough anime to know that even though the solution is right in front of our eyes, there is still going to be a battle of death to get to that solution. The Government and the Non-Infected see the Infected ones as incurable. And as they think that the Infected ones are beyond saving, they want the cure for themselves. But, on the other hand, the Infected ones are sick of being treated like this. It is their home too, yet they are treated like aliens who invaded that place. They want the cure too.
Rest you can imagine what might happen. Our imagination has no limits, so feel free to imagine. We’ll find out where the story goes when Arknights: Prelude To Dawn Season 01 will finally be released.
