Synopsis

Sarah is a dedicated single mother who is trying to sustain both her terminally sick kid and herself after her divorce. She finally bags a job to work for Mr. Ibrahim’s architecture firm, which would help her gain financial security and pay for her son’s pricey medical expenditures. She had thought that her son’s cancer would gradually improve with steady treatment, but it appeared to be rapidly getting worse.

Sarah has to work as tirelessly as she possibly can to cover the medical expenses and ease her son’s anguish as his health worsens. The loan request she had made to the bank had been denied, leaving her feeling powerless and uncertain of what to do. She eventually approached Mr. Ibrahim’s son Zein, who also happened to be her supervisor at the architecture firm, and asked for his help.

Zein put forward the absurd question if Sarah would be willing to spend the night with him in exchange for the money. Sarah hesitantly agreed to the ridiculous demand since she had no other choice. However, Zein later begins to regret his actions after discovering the real reason behind her desperate need for money.

In order to fix their materialistic relationship and change it to something more emotional, he makes an effort to solve his mistake and restore Sarah’s trust but ends up falling in love with her in the process.

Al Thaman Episode 85 Recap (Spoilers!)

In Al Thaman Episode 85, Zein makes the tough decision of finally moving out with his beloved and beginning a new chapter in his life. He made it clear that he would now be leaving the family in order to officially start his life together with Sarah and her son. He made things clear to Mia as well, who was in confusion and rather devastated by his decision.

Sumayya, who too was unsupportive of Zein’s abrupt leave, begged Sarah to convince him to stay. Yet, all her efforts were in vain. Sarah respected Zein’s decision to move out and was willing to accompany him. Their love had grown and matured over time, and it seemed perfect to finally start anew, not bothered by all the involvement of third parties.

The next episode of Al Thaman will witness new beginnings, which bring happiness to some, while others are still in shock by the couple’s decision to leave.
