Since its premiere on March 7, 2023, Aile has received a good number of views due to its good-looking and talented cast, good-paced storyline, and gripping narrative. The viewers are amazed by the sizzling on-screen chemistry between the main leads – Aslan Soykan played by Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ and Devin Aydin played by Serenay Sarıkaya.
With the release of its fifth episode on April 4, 2023, the narrative of the series has become more intense as some true faces of the main characters are revealed and the Soykan family’s safety gets jeopardized. Now, let us look at the highlights of the few previous episodes to get a better understanding of the situation.
Aile Recap
In the previous few episodes of Aile, we have seen that after Devin and Aslan’s marriage is proposed against Hulya’s wish, Hulya, to safeguard her family, makes a contract for Aslan and Devin. Although the contract infuriates Aslan, when he gets to know about the conditions, Hulya still insists he takes different measures to keep his family’s safety as a priority even after marriage.
Later, Devin suggests Aslan get to know one another more before their wedding. On the other hand, when a crisis situation arises on the farm, Aslan gets to see a hidden side of Devin, where he gets acquainted with her real potential and power. Soon after, Devin also gets to know about Aslan’s new side – his mafia side.
With such real faces being revealed, the couple loses trust in each other, but, however, they cannot help falling for each other further. Meanwhile, when Aslan finds out that Ati has agreed to work on the documentary with Ibo, he decides to sabotage their relationship, starting a conflict.
As if all the chaos and mess wasn’t enough, at her clinic, Devin welcomes Cihan, an unexpected visitor, under Hulya’s order. When Devin learns about the contract from Cihan, she is forced to make a significant decision, which puts Devin and Aslan’s relationship to the test.
Next, when Devin confronts Aslan about the contract, their relationship reaches a serious deadlock, and are on the point of breaking up. But, their feelings for each other make them surrender to each other and both reconcile and therefore they start their wedding arrangements.
When the people on the farm get to know about the marriage, it comes as a huge blow to each and every one. However, Hulya is seen to be determined about breaking up the couple by using Cihan.
On the other hand, Ibo takes the opportunity to show his authority in the family by citing the farm’s security flaw as justification. Meanwhile, Ati challenges Aslan, and Ati and Ibo plant explosives to destroy Aslan. Later, during the wedding, at the venue, Devin is introduced to the dark side of the Soykan family, when a gun attack takes place amidst the auspicious ceremony.
Seeing the horrific site, Devin yearns for Aslan’s support. However, she discovers that she has an army of bodyguards in place of Aslan. Taking advantage of the situation, Hulya puts further pressure on Devin and the rest of her family. Up till the perpetrator of the attack is identified, security measures are increased at the farm.
On the other side, Devin reaches out to Cihan in search of an answer as she faces the never-seen-before side of the Soykan family and starts to doubt everything about Aslan. Later, she tries to figure Aslan out, but Aslan is more focused on identifying the assailant of Eko. After a rigorous investigation, ultimately Aslan identifies the assailant. Meanwhile, Devin asks Aslan to make a commitment not to use this situation as a personal vendetta.
