Aile, which also means Family is a story about Aslan and Devin. Aslan Soykan is the heir of one of the most infamous crime families. His father was a crime lord involved in various illegal businesses. After his passing, Aslan’s mother, Hülya, is the ruler. She manages the entire Soykan family and maintains their tradition of having food together at one table.
Aslan falls in love with a young and beautiful psychologist, Devin. For the first time, Aslan ignores his family’s tradition after meeting Devin. As a psychologist, she starts marking issues in Aslan due to his conflicting family. They get married, but Devin struggles to fit into the mafia family’s rules.

Previously on Aile, Aslan felt restless after killing Atilla for drugging his younger sister. He reads the letter left by his father. His father has put his trust in him and does not want him to become heartless like he was. Meanwhile, Hülya displays Devin, the video clip of the murder of the lawyer’s wife. She was one of the witnesses to Serhat’s death, and her killing was crucial for the safety of the Soykan family.
Hülya is making Devin understand the pressure of being a part of the Soykan family. Hülya clarifies to Devin that she has to support her husband like Hülya did to save Yusuf, her husband, in the past. It will be very tormenting but endure it for the family. On the other hand, Aslan and his men hurl Atilla’s body into the house and set it on fire.
The Soykans learn of Atilla’s death by arson. Aslan failed to keep his promise to protect Devin from himself and not ruin her life. He regretted his actions and urged Devin would leave him immediately. Devin doesn’t want to leave him alone in this condition. Hülya is trying to control the case before it gets worse.
Hülya steps outside, but Devin ambushes the car and begins driving. Their car gets attacked by Gohan. Devin was concerned because her sister, Yagmur, was disappeared. They discover she escaped by hiding in a car and went to Devin’s house. Yagmur is upset after being blamed for the Soykan family’s suffering.
Hülya wants Devin to play a role by lying during the police questioning. Devin refuses to listen to Hülya, and they begin to argue. She has been experiencing mental discomfort since the day she saw the video. It’s tough for her to cope with all in such a short time. Being a part of the Soykan family feels like a burden to her. Hülya has to make a tough decision between Aslan and Cihan.
The police arrived to investigate the death of Atilla. Police especially request to meet with Devin, and she comes to give her statement. Devin spoke smoothly and precisely as Aslan had advised. She had chosen to stay alongside Aslan. It is the day of Yusuf’s death anniversary. The entire family departs to pay their respects and pray at the graveyard.
There is a bomb in one of the Soykan’s cars. Aslan learns that Ilyaz has kept an eye on the cars of Hülya and Devin. They are suspicious of Ilyaz’s activities. Meanwhile, Ilyaz has given the order to blow it.
