Towards the end of the movie, Tessa seemed ecstatic to see him. He showed how far he had come in the last two years. They are still together when Hardin makes his proposal.

In this movie, Hardin makes an effort to improve himself as a whole. But the relationship he has pursued with Tessa sends thoughts of what it would be like to live without her into a downward spiral. He learns the value of happiness from the incident.
The intensity of Fiennes Tiffin’s character’s suffering was captured in his honest portrayal. Hardin narrates the movie’s opening and describes how he finds it impossible to picture life without Tessa.
One of the most sincere scenes in the movie is when Hardin’s father, Vince, visits him in Portugal during his heartbreak and writer’s block. The acting in this scenario demonstrated how real father and son Hardin and Vince were.
To earn his book deal, Vince instructs Hardin to produce at least “a page a day” of writing. He said he didn’t know what the future would bring and counseled Hardin to let go of Tessa and pursue happiness.
Their relationship was frequently tumultuous in the last movie, so the enjoyable time they had together in this one is appreciated.
Natalie, played by Mimi Keene, effectively conveyed the significance of Hardin’s background. She experienced Hardin’s heartbreak and gave him a new life. The characters’ platonic bond provided Hardin with a true sense of camaraderie.
It was mature and clear of Natalie to forgive Hardin for the hurt he had previously given her. The understanding Hardin needed in his life was brilliantly expressed by the fact that she still had the compassion to forgive him after damaging her life.
The movie also did an excellent job of depicting how Hardin will always have thoughts of Tessa and how every place he goes brings her to mind. This was the best way to express how much he missed her and how nothing would ever be able to make him forget her.
This movie shows how obstacles must be conquered to move on with life and how true happiness comes from inside. The passion between Hardin and Tessa is rekindled near the conclusion, indicating the amount of heartache they had to go through for two years before finding happiness.
