The RZA and Alex Tse’s series, Wu-Tang: An American Saga will soon start siring its third and final season this week. Taking place in 1990 NYC, the show is a biographical series that depicts the life of Wu-Tang Clan’s members and how it came to be in the first place. From a desolate era of addiction and drugs, some rappers manage to build a different path for themselves that leads them to fame and stardom.
Produced by James Seidman and Earl Davis, the show was first seen on September 4th, 2019. The first season starts with Diggs’ brother, Divine being sent to jail due to his connection with drugs. With his brother in jail, Bobby Diggs takes up the responsibility to handle his business, while also focusing on his music career. After his brother comes back, Bobby tries to shift his career to the music world, only to see that it’s filled with much more problems, though it provides freedom.
The first season can be regarded as the beginning of the Wu-Tang Clan, and the second season, which aired from September 8th, 2021 to October 27th, showed Bobby indulging in the world of music much more than any other affairs.
By calling together Dennis, Sha, Divine, and Power, Bobby decides to make a group named Wu-Tang Clan. This starts the story of the legendary Hip Hop group, with Bobby making Big moves to make sure no one tries to overshadow their group. With the same characters, the third season will be finally taking place in the state of New Jersey, as the Clan has shifted its base after the ending of the second season.
