The Turkish crime-drama, Bozkir, is back with a brand-new season after four years. The release date of Bozkir Season 2 Episode 1 is knocking on the door. Bozkir, also known as “The Steppe” is a Turkish crime-drama starring actors like Yigit Ozsener, Ekin Koç, and Merve Çağıran. The series premiered its first season on November 30, 2018, and reached its finale on January 31, 2019. It consisted of 10 episodes.
Bozkir Season 1 introduced us to two cops, Seyfi, an experienced police chief who, along with inexperienced cop, Nuri Pamir, investigated a child murder that took place in a small Turkish town, Steppe (as referred to by Seyfi and Nuri, in the series), that was within his security jurisdiction.
Eventually, we saw the police team had several encounters with Mr. Abbas and his daughter Dilara as a result of the investigation. Mr. Abbas and Dilara were seen to be high-profile people with good standing in their respective social circles.
Bozkir Season 1: Summary
Along with the investigation, we also get to know about the personal lives of both the cops – Seyfi and Nuri, which works as a break for the audience from the monotonous investigation scenes.
The first season of Bozkir reaches its climax with Abbas being exposed as the murderer. According to Seyfi, Abbas is referred to as “the whale on the steppe.” We get to know that Abbas concealed all of his murders for many years, but he also had a lover who shared his cruelty and craving for sadism.
Abbas’s accomplice aided in his self-preservation. He served as Abbas’s guardian—the infatuated ex-lover. This man’s commitment, not his might, has been what has shielded Abbas for years. Finally, when he stopped shielding him and started acting in a way that alerted the police to the fact that they committed the murders together.
Bozkir Season 2 Episode 1: Plot
In Bozkir Season 2 episode 1, Seyfi will start working with his new partner, Payidar to try and solve the enigma surrounding the incidents in “Bozkir.” Season 2 will consist of eight episodes in which a series of murders will be investigated after one of the small banks gets bankrupt.
Bozkir Season 2: Cast
The crime drama is back with a new set of cast, the only exception being the protagonist, Yigit Ozsener, who plays the role of Seyfi Amir. The versatile Turkish actor, Yigit Özsener is known for his distinctive acting style. His theatrical acting approach, which is a strong foundation for his acting style, inspired him to create a very stylized type of acting for films and series.
Unfortunately, Bozkir Season 2 will not have the dynamic duo of Seyfi and Nuri. Ekin Koç, who played Nuri Pamir is not included in the new season. He is replaced by a new character, Payidar (Furkan Andıç ), who is a young cop with anger issues.
The Model-actor, Furkan Andıç, debuted on television with the TNT series Kolej Günlüğü (College Diary). He is well-known for his roles in Her Yerde Sen (2019), Tatli intikam (2016), and Meryem (2017).
It is going to be interesting to see how the chemistry of the new duo will be highlighted. Successful actors and actresses like Cemre Baysel, Yüsra Geyik, Fatih Al, Cemal Toktas, and Bülent Düzgünolu will also be seen alongside the leading pair in the new season.
