This anime is based on the manga Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill, in which a 27-year-old guy named Tsuyoshi Mukda lives in Japan and leads a typical life while being completely unaware of the experiences that are axiomatically going to happen to him.
The wizard in the world of swordplay and magic inadvertently brought Tsuyoshi to the Reijseger’s Kingdom on the orders of King Iwaku, and Tsuyoshi now thinks he will be trapped in this world for the rest of his life. More than him, three other heroes were also chosen. Tsuyoshi leaves the kingdom to pursue his own goals after sensing something off about this reality.
The only skill Tsuyoshi has with him is the ability to purchase ingredients from an online supermarket in order to prepare delectable meals. In this anime, Tsuyoshi isn’t very brave and doesn’t believe in battling enemies.
Due to his cowardice, several of his combatants encourage him to fight, but he soon begins to deal with the adversaries in his own manner. He’s on a mission to use his virtuous culinary abilities to combat hunger among all sentient creatures.

Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill Episode 3: Recap & Spoilers
You can see in the earlier episodes of Campfire Cooking in Another Domain with My Absurd Skill how Mukoda was summoned in the world of magic and swordplay. When his group of intrepid adventurers was attempting to cross the kingdom’s boundary, they came across the enormous Fenrir (Wolf beast).
The beast was watching them, and when it caught a whiff of the extremely delicious feast, it eventually revealed him in front of the entire party of intrepid adventurers. Fenrir had a craving for delicious food, so he asked Mukoda to make it for him.
After tasting the food, he fell in love with it and made a contract with Mukoda to take care of him and feed him delicious food every day. The beast was pressuring him not to object, so he agreed to the terms of the agreement. The gang of explorers was both astonished and delighted by this.
Finally, when they arrived in the Kingdom of Venan, the adventurer group’s journey came to an end, and they parted ways joyfully. After consulting with them about which guild to join, he decided to join both the “Merchant’s Guild and Adventurer’s Guild,” and he is currently on his first mission to obtain the rare herb known as Thistle.
If you compare this series’ manga and anime, you’ll see that the first two episodes correspond to the first five chapters’ first quarter. You can see how Fenrir was battling the group of creatures in the episode 2 end credit scene.
In episode 3, it is revealed that Mukoda is on a quest to locate the Thistle herbs and that he will ask Fel to go on a hunt until he finds the herbs and can prepare lunch for the two of them later. Fel will therefore set up a barrier around Mukoda and go in search of the same.
Additionally, you may witness Mukado riding Fel for the first time. Mukado believes that Fel’s speed is too high and not ideal for him. In order to recognize everything in this world, Mukoda has a virtual screen that appears in the air, which is called “Appraisal.”
He will utilize this screen to detect the Thistle herbs. Following that, the two of them will continue to trek for a time before coming upon some bizarre dead animals that Fel claims all people can eat.
When they return from their mission, they will proceed to the Adventurer guild’s office to sell all they have, including Thistle herb and dead A-grade monsters who are terrible enough to frighten anyone only by their name.
In this episode, there are some explorers who are on the lookout for a gigantic wolf. These kinds of rumors are circulated throughout the entire village, and Mukado will leave the community to keep his animal safe from them.
The moment that Fel and Mukado encounter the adventurer, the action will start, and we will be able to witness the strength of the legendary beast Fenrir. As we can see in the episode 2 end credit scene, Fel is engaged in combat with some sort of pig-like animals known as Orcs. It’s possible that Fel will go hunting the monsters for their dinner, and we can watch the conflict with them as well.
As the first and second episodes of this manga were compilations of five chapters each, with some subtle differences, more things could occur in this episode. As a result, it’s impossible to foretell what will transpire in the third episode.
