University student Yuuhi Amamiya is awakened by a reptile in his bedroom that names itself Noi and is a Beast Knight helping a princess save the world. Yuuhi casually tosses the reptile aside, thinking he has an illusion. Noi regrettably constantly shows up and tells them they are tied.

Yuuhi has the ability to utilize magic when a ring materializes on his hand, but he gets into problems after he uses telekinetic powers to peer up Hisame, his professor’s, skirt. Yuuhi is told by Noi to find the princess and vanquish the wicked mage, but he declines.

He is unexpectedly ambushed by a golem and only manages to escape thanks to his next-door neighbor Samidare Asahina, who later reveals herself to be the princess who has the spirit Anima living inside her. Just outside of the earth’s atmosphere, Samidare is able to demonstrate to Yuuhi the evil mage’s greatest potent weapon, a moon-sized hammer known as the Biscuit Hammer.

Samidare leaps from the roof to show Yuuhi is a Beast Knight, and he automatically saves her. Noi is incensed to find that Samidare just intends to vanquish the wicked magician in order for her to dominate the earth. Yuuhi then declares his allegiance.

Yayoi beats Yuuhi while risking the Mythical Beast Knight, Invincible’s might. She then tells him how she really feels prior to being sent back. The following day, a downtrodden Yuuhi spends time with Mikazuki, and there they encounter a golem that can change its shape and poses as Hangetsu.

When Hanako encounters that golem elsewhere, she thinks back to Tarou. Hanako requests Animus to let her confront Boedromion face-to-face as the knights get ready to battle, and he agrees. Once she triumphs, she is eventually able to lament Tarou’s passing. Later, Hanako decides to pursue his career as a chef.

Mikazuki remembers his past when he is chilling out with Yuuhi, Samidare, and Anima. Hangetsu pledged Mikazuki in a flashback that when he reached adulthood, he would take Mikazuki seriously. Then, after being taken hostage by a group seeking his brother, Hangetsu managed to save Mikazuki.

Hangetsu complimented Mikazuki on her increased strength six years later. The two fighters decide to battle in the present. Later, Samidare appears just as the knights prepare to engage Pyanepsion in combat and quickly dispatches it. When Yuuhi and Mikazuki are summoned to Anima’s location on the day of their match, Yuuhi finally prevails.

The remaining goblins are down to only three as the knights reassemble, and they understand they are nearing the end. While Yukimachi and Taiyou appear, Yuuhi is at a ramen restaurant. A flashback later that evening, as Yukimachi is practicing by herself, reveals that she and Subaru made a wish for each other’s fulfillment after discovering they were Beast Knights.

The moment the other knights start to come the following day, Taiyou and Pyanepsion meet. Later on, after running into each other, Yuuhi and Yayoi experience an unpleasant moment. Taiyou is currently with the golem with the ability to change its shape, Maimakterion.

Another flashback depicts Taiyou and Animus’s first encounter before they split up. Later that morning, the knights once more run into Pyanepsion. After a few days, Mikazuki discovers Taiyou in the mountains, and Yukimachi and Saburu meet Yuuhi in the ramen store. At Yuuhi’s residence, everyone continues to hang together. Maimakterion then drives Taiyou home.
