Cheer Up Episode 8 Recap
Sun Ho and Hae Yi’s dynamics took a turn in the recent episode of Cheer Up. Sun Ho generally does not showcase his weak spots. However, he had his share of troubled past. Incidents that have scarred him for life. Finally, he had someone to talk to about it.
If we take a look into Sun Ho’s past, we will find glimpses of why he never takes or doesn’t want his relationships to go in a more committed direction. Since his childhood, he has seen his father love another woman, and despite knowing it, his mother loved him unconditionally. The incident makes him negatively look at love.
Instead Of Him, Why Can’t You Look At Me?
Previously, Jae Yi called out Sun Ho for his offensive nature and how it maybe it is one of the reasons why Hae Yi probably does not like him. When he confessed his feelings to her, she tried to relate to him and give him a comfortable space. Jung Woo arrives there and watches them from afar, thinking that maybe they will end up together. On the other hand, Jung Woo has gotten his hands on the person who sent those emails targeting Hae Yi.
It was none other than Min Jae ( seriously, the reason he gave to justify his actions was just vague). According to him, the sole purpose of sending those emails was his dislike towards Hae Yi. Though now, he does not share any such hard feelings for her. Meanwhile, Sun Woo suspects that someone has been keeping an eye on his and Hae Yi’s movements.
When asked if he was behind this anyhow, Min Jae denied the claims and said that he had no motive to do such activities.
