Welcome to Secret Headquarters ending explained, where we will discuss the newest Paramount Plus film starring Owen Wilson, Walker Scobell, Jesse Williams, and Michael Pea. The movie is directed by Ariel Schulman and Henry Joost. The movie tells the story of a young boy who learns that his father is, in fact, the world’s greatest superhero. In order to overcome the villains and restore their connection, the young boy and his father work together in the movie.
By all standards, Secret Headquarters qualifies as a family film. The main protagonists are a group of children, and there isn’t really much violence in it. Although Owen Wilson appears on the movie poster as the main character, he really appears in very little of the film, which may surprise some of the actor’s fans. Nevertheless, the movie is enjoyable for the whole family and is mostly targeted at young children who are just beginning to become interested in the Marvel and DC superhero universes.
Secret Headquarters Explained
Captain Sean Irons had seen something while traveling in space that he hadn’t seen before in his life. He requests permission to examine the object more closely and determine its precise nature. But the command center refuses to give him permission. Irons was aware that this opportunity might only come along once in a lifetime. He had a hunch that it might result in a revelation of some kind. He ignores the order and advances to have a better look.
Jack Kincaid, his wife Lily, and their son Charlie were all camping at the same time. They witnessed a vehicle traveling at a high speed and colliding with a nearby object where their caravan was parked. Jack feels compelled to go to the police station and report the problem. He was aware that the closest town was kilometers away and that there might be someone in need of help somewhere. In order to find out exactly what happened, he leaves his wife and son behind and gets into his van. Jack rushed as he traveled the deserted wooded road. Unexpectedly, a man steps out in front of his vehicle.
It was Captain Sean Irons, who, luckily, had survived the collision with the mysterious object he had earlier reported. To find out more about the object in space, they both enter the jungle. Irons is speechless. He believes that it is a UAP and that he has been waiting to study one closely for a while. They see an orb emerge from the UAP, and they can make out a female voice. The orb examines the earth. The object approaches Jack and declares, “Guardian accepted.” Jack and Irons were unsure of what it meant. The UAP starts the self-destruction process while Jack is holding the orb. Before they can react, it explodes, severely wounding Captain Irons.

Jack Become The Guard
Jack used the orb as an energy source to construct cutting-edge machines. Ten years had passed since that tragedy, and Jack had subsequently turned into a vigilante who had fought against crime in society. Although several crimes were prevented from happening, including the rescue of kidnapped girls, no one knew who was responsible for all of this. Everyone was interested in learning more about the man they had named the Guard. Jack was unable to spend much time with his family because he was constantly preoccupied with his duties. Since he and his wife Lily had divorced, he mostly saw his kid on the weekends when he visited. But lately, he stopped being there for him. He used to either cancel or postpone their meeting every time.
Charlie was trying to come to terms with the fact that his father had little time for him or the family because he was so preoccupied with his work. However, the kid was really frustrated. Jack used to abruptly change their plans for every activity they had planned. Jack often had to come up with weak justifications since he was unable to tell his kid that he was the Guard. Charlie, on the other hand, was completely obsessed with this superhero and often geeked out whenever anyone brought it up.
Charlie Finds About His Father’s Identity
The Guard was causing Ansel Argon, CEO of Ansel Tactical, to suffer major losses. A new era of peace had begun, and many nations had cut back on their spending on the military. As these nations no longer need its services, Ansel Tactical lost out on numerous defense contracts. Ansel was so determined to locate the Guard’s base because of this. Despite his best efforts, he had not yet been able to obtain the energy source. Then Lily drove Charlie to his dad’s place.
Jack wanted to change it at the last minute once more, but Lily told him she wasn’t going to let him because Charlie needed to spend some quality time with him. Lily was aware that if things continued in this manner, Charlie would eventually begin to feel wholly cut off from his father. When Charlie and Jack started interacting, it seemed like they would finally get to spend some quality time together. However, Charlie knew in his heart that it wasn’t going to last. Jack gave Charlie the same old justification—he had an IT meeting—for having to leave on a mission. He tells Charlie to call his mother and request a pick-up from her.
Instead of trying to call his mother, Charlie called his best friend, Berger. He assured Jack that his mother would arrive in a few minutes, so there was no need for him to wait. Assuming that Lily would pick up Charlie, Jack left. Charlie then invited Berger to see him at his home. Lizzie and Maya also arrived with Berger. The children were playing around Jack’s house when they unintentionally stumbled onto a basement entrance. When they enter the basement, they discover with shock that Jack was “The Guard,” the vigilante that everyone had been talking about.

Secret Headquarters Ending Explained
Since that fateful night when he first saw the orb, Captain Irons has been hired by Ansel Tactical. He had been looking for that orb, which he believed was the source through which the Guard was drawing all of its energy, for the past ten years. However, they were unable to find Jack’s house’s secret headquarters. After sneaking into the basement, the kids were thrilled by all the equipment. They used each piece of equipment, making the decision to use it for the upcoming class test. Captain Irons and his team began receiving signals as soon as the kids exited the basement with all of the equipment. While the kids were completely unaware of what they had done, Captain Irons eventually discovered the secret headquarters.
Suddenly, Ansel Argon shows up. He captures Lizzie and also kidnaps Big Mac, who had just arrived. Argon demands the orb from the children. He explains that Argon would use it for the benefit of society, in contrast to Jack, who was using itself-centered and just for himself. The children didn’t trust him. They took the orb and teleported it to Berger’s locker at school using a teleportation gadget.
The Final Showdown
Captain Irons understood that the orb needed to be protected. Even though he still hated Jack for disappearing that night, he knew he couldn’t risk giving it to Ansel Argon. Irons was aware that Argon had no desire to perform any acts of charity and only wanted to rule the world. While speaking with his wife, Jack understood that Charlie had tricked him and that he had not returned to his mother. As a result, Jack returned to his home. Ansel was able to overcome Jack in the covert HQ despite Jack’s best efforts to control him, thanks to the Guard’s suit.
He changed the access codes, scattered nano bombs everywhere, took Berger with him, and then he left to retrieve the orb from the locker at the school. Charlie realized they were out of time. He begged Sean Irons to help his severely hurt father. He sent Lizzie to break the codes and gain access to the system, and he went with Maya to use the technology inside to make more jetpacks so they could escape the facility. Before the nano bombs exploded, they all managed to escape, thanks to Lizzie’s quick thinking in solving the code.
They arrived at the school where Ansel and Berger had gone. Jack and Ansel decided to enter into armed combat. Charlie was able to help Jack in getting rid of Ansel and retrieving the orb. Ansel was stuck in another dimension, yet he was not killed. As Lily came on the scene, she told Charlie that she had always known who Jack really was and had been waiting for the proper time to tell her. The Kincaid family began cooperating after that day. Captain Sean Irons began to serve as the Guard’s “Mission Control.” In addition, there were rumors that Maya was a CIA intern while Big Mac and Lizzie were still dating.
