90 Day Fiancé Season 9 Episode 9 Recap
Bilal’s two children are in shared custody. Shaeeda tried her hardest to bond with the kids during his week with them. She taught his daughter how to make a Trinidadian curry dish. She also discussed Bilal with her future stepdaughter. Bilal is a tidier than a tidier. He was a little obsessive about it. Every step of the way, they had to ensure they cleaned up after themselves. Shaeeda also discussed her moniker. Her future stepchildren refer to her as “Mom.” She wants to be addressed as “omi.” The kids weren’t ready to go there because it meant “mother.” Shaeeda was the first person they met. They also have a stepfather, whom they address by his first name.
It wasn’t meant to be disrespectful. They simply needed more time to get to know Shaeeda before referring to her by a different name. That nickname refers to all-female adults or older women in Shaeeda’s culture. It has nothing to do with what it means to Americans. Shaeeda, on the other hand, is currently in the United States. At the same time, as they were learning more about her, she needed to get used to them. Shaeeda was fortunate in that her future stepchildren were good children. They were never obnoxious. They never told Shaeeda to return to her homeland or to have a bad attitude toward her. So she got lucky, and once she gets over the title, she’ll realize it.
Jibri
After that, there’s Jibri. Jibri was a member of a band. Some band members seemed to resent his fiancée’s presence, claiming that it distracted Jibri from his work. Dacho, as David is known, even went so far as to say that Miona needed to stop acting as if she needed Jibri to hold her hand. It doesn’t matter that Miona left her homeland to be with Jibri. Brandi, who was also in the band, had said it best when she said she came here knowing they were going to get married and start a life together. Apart from Jibri, Miona has no one else with her. Only Jibri’s mother didn’t seem to like Miona, so it would be ideal if his family was supportive and she felt welcomed.
The mother did everything she could to humiliate the younger woman. It wasn’t calling her food horrible (which, even if true, should have been kept to yourself) or telling Miona to cover up because she thought Miona was dressed inappropriately. His mother does not appear to be fond of her. That’s a bummer because they were living with his parents. Miona lived in a house she didn’t own, and Jibri was her only source of support. So, if she wants him to spend more time at home to help her cope with her loneliness, his friends should be mature enough to see how they can assist. Not to mention not tearing him down.
Emily
Emily, on the other hand, desired a large wedding. Her boyfriend Kobe proposed to her and left his home country to be with her and their son, but her family appears to be a little ridiculous. They were putting pressure on Kobe to hurry up and help his family. To look for work. He couldn’t do it until they were married because he wouldn’t be able to get a green card otherwise, and the person who needed a job right now wasn’t him. He could stay home with his father while she went out to work. They’re living off her parents right now, and her parents don’t think she should rush into marriage with Kobe because they want him to prove he can support a family first. And, once again, he wouldn’t be able to do so until they were married.
Families could be ridiculous in their expectations of people who had only recently arrived. These individuals have ninety days to marry or return to their homelands. They cannot work, drive, or choose where they will live. It’s entirely up to the Americans to decide. It’s not anyone else’s fault if Americans can’t afford the lives they promised these people to get them here or if Americans frequently deceive these people. Take, for example, Thais. Her fiancé and her fiancé’s brother were a pain to live with. In addition, the brother had a habit of treating the house as if it were a frat. Patrick claims he wants to settle down with Thais but still wants to party.
