What Is The K-drama ‘Blood’ About?
The K-Drama ‘Blood’ follows Park Ji Sang, a doctor who is working in the best cancer research hospital in the country. Coming from a family of supernatural beings, he’s a vampire. But despite being a blood-sucking creature, he’s been holding his urge to drink blood and treats his patients without any problem. Living as a cold-hearted person, Park Ji Sang carves on the warmth and closeness of human touch. While his life was going just fine, as he comes across a fellow doctor, things begin to change.
His colleague Yoo Ri Ta, who is the niece of the chaebol group chairman and the owner of the hospital, enters the hospital as a hotshot physician. Ri Ta lost her parents in an attack by werewolves. Entering medical school at the age of 17, she’s been a gifted person. While the two start off as enemies because of Ri Ta’s arrogant behavior, eventually, things start to change as Park Ji Sang finds himself falling in love with Ri Ta.
But before things could go any further between the two doctors, another conflict starts. Meeting a two-faced hospital director name Lee Jee Wook, Ji Sang has to be careful of his actions, or his secret could come out. Being on the research team investigating the VBT-01 virus, Jae Wook became greedy and infected himself. He went on to kill Ji Sang’s parents when he was young and now is after him as well.
