One Piece Chapter 1049 Recap
Chapter 1049 of One Piece was titled “The World You Wish For” and it spoke about Luffy’s dream world and Kaido’s Flashback. The flashback about Kaido highlighted a lot of similarities between Kaido and Luffy. The chapter begins with Luffy and Kaido engaging in the Haki clashes with Luyff’s new move and Kaido’s new flame dragon form. As they get closer, Onigashima is falling down harder and Momonsuke struggles to Keep Onigashima in the air. Just then, we have the long-awaited flashback about Kaido that told us about the rebellious Kaido. Like Luffy, Kaido also hates the Celestial dragon. Kaido was the strongest fighter on his home island “Vodka” even at the 10.
When Kaido was around 15 years old, he was recruited by the Rocks Pirates, and often he would let himself be captured by the marines whenever he was hungry. 10 years after the Rock’s pirates’ defeat in the God Valley, he begins his reign in the Wano Country. After hating the Celestial Dragons and eventually turning into one of them, it was the biggest flaw in Kaido’s character. Luffy’s punch is getting stronger and Kaido starts to go back. Kaido asks Luffy what kind of world he wishes for? To which Luffy replies a world where his friends can eat as much as they want.
Finally, Luffy punches Kaido with his new move, and Kaido starts to fall down. As he is falling, a little flashback reminisces about Kaido and King’s conversation about Joyboy. Kaido tells King that Joyboy is the man who will defeat Kaido one day. Momosuke successfully lands Onigashima and Luffy has run out of stamina at the end of the chapter.
One Piece Chapter 1050 Expectations
There could be a lot of expectations from the 1050th chapter of One Piece. Will it be the usual banquet at the end of every fight? That wouldn’t suffice the One Piece fans. If we think about it, Luffy has come back to fight Kaido almost 3 times since he was defeated by him however, we have not seen Kaido make come back yet. Will Kaido be back to fight Luffy for one more time? It could be very unlikely but it is a possibility. Or perhaps, we might have another flashback about Kaido before he gets up.
If you remember the first time Kaido defeated Luffy, Kaido was disappointed that Luffy could not be Joyboy either. It is a fact that Kaido himself is waiting for Joyboy and probably Kaido has been looking for a place where he could be freed from the things he has been by someone who will defeat him and that someone is Joyboy. Of course, Kaido would not be dead by Luffy’s punch however, he might get up and probably thank Luffy for freeing him.
If things out very unfortunate, then Wano might be infiltrated by the World Government or even worse the Blackbeard Pirates. Perhaps, in the end, Kaido might help Luffy and his crew get off the Wano country? Well, we would not know what would happen exactly all we can do is wait for Chapter 1050 of One Piece.
One Piece Chapter 1050 Release Date
Unfortunately, the wait for the One Piece Chapter is going to be longer. Oda Sensei will be taking a break this week so One Piece will be on break coming Sunday. One Piece Chapter 1050 will release on 29th May 2022. However, the spoilers could be out early next week and raw sans will be available on 27th May 2022.
