Better Call Saul Season 6 Episode 3 Recap
Better Call Saul Season 6 Episode 3 opened up with Nacho still on the run from the Salamanca brothers. The run saw him stopping by as his car broke down. Knowing that it’s just a matter of moments before Salamancas will arrive, Nacho took shelter inside a broken pipeline nearby. The Salamanca cousins did arrive and looked around for Nacho. One of the brothers got his eyes on the pipe. This saw Nacho drowning inside the oil in order to hide.
Nacho spent the whole day hiding inside the pipe before moving out at night. The next day he got himself washed up at a garage. The owner of the garage also allowed him to make a call. Nacho made sure his dad was safe by hitting him up. Then the next call he made was to Mike, who was held at gunpoint.

Nacho knew Gus Fring was around and told him that one way or another, Salamancas wanted him alive. They will make him talk until he discloses Fring’s name. So he decided to cut a deal with Fring. Nacho was ready to tell the story the way Fring wanted him to. In return, he wants Gus to make sure his dad will be okay. Fring agrees.
Nacho is smuggled in by Mike as he is all set to confess. Mike insisted on being around during the meeting in case things went wrong. So Fring and his men arranged a meeting with Hector Salamanca, Juan Bolsa, and Salamanca Brothers. Bolsa interrogates Nacho, and eventually, Nacho claims it was Alvarez who put him to this job.
Nacho knew his fate and decided to rant on Hector Salamanca, stating he was the one who put him in the chair before holding a gun on Bolsa and then shooting himself. The Episode closed with Salamancas raining more bullets on the dead body of Nacho.
Amidst all of this, Kim and Jimmy continue their mission to destroy Hamlin. This time Jimmy had Huell steal Hamlin’s car key and replicate it. Meanwhile, Kim learned about Lalo Salmanca’s death from DA Suzanne Ericsen, who questioned her about Jimmy’s history with clients that involved the people of the cartel.
The firm is not happy that they let someone like Lalo Salamanca go. Suzzanne wants Jimmy to talk to her about Salamanca’s associates. She also assures anything he will tell won’t blow back.
Better Call Saul Season 6 Episode 3 Review
Better Call Saul Season 6 Episode 3 was just sad as we saw one of the characters who we have grown to love bid us goodbye. Since the very beginning of Season 6, we have been counting on Nacho to somehow manage to escape from the hands of Salamancas. But at the same time, even Nacho and we knew his fate the moment Fring decided to betray him.
The Episode focused completely on Nacho’s arc. The fans may always remember him as a hero. The only reason he was thriving and trying to survive was for his father. He knew it was a matter of time before Salamanca cousins would come to him. But at the same time, he also knew they would come to Fring, who had his eyes on Nacho’s father.
So he decided to go with what was going to happen anyway and gave in. In turn, he saved Fring but sacrificed himself for his father. Nacho certainly died a hero, but before he could pull a gun on himself, he made sure Hector Salamanca knew what he did. Also, that was quite a badass speech.
Lastly, there were not many developments in Kim and Jimmy’s mission to take down Hamlin. Instead, we had a turning point with them finding out about Lalo Salamanca’s death. Jimmy here has a chance of doing the right thing but will he is the question.
