The Supervisor also shares an important detail about its programming: the last message it received from the Republic declared that the Jedi were traitors. This message arrived right after Emperor Palpatine issued Order 66, over 30 years ago.
This revelation explains why the children of At Attin know so little about the Galactic Civil War or the events that shaped the galaxy. The Supervisor also realizes that Jod is not a true Jedi, exposing his lies. However, Jod’s greed drives him to disable the Supervisor with his lightsaber. This action shuts down the power across At Attin, leaving the planet vulnerable.
