After nearly three years since their last group release, GOT7 has officially confirmed that they will be making a long-awaited return in January 2025. The news was revealed on December 7, with group members JAY B and BamBam playfully teasing the announcement on social media.
BamBam took to X (formerly known as Twitter), expressing his excitement, saying,
“Oh god finally I can say this out loud. It’s been a month!! You know how hard it is to hold this…?”
This announcement was also made during JAY B’s solo concert that same evening, much to the excitement of their fans.
The group’s comeback is set for January 20, 2025, marking the first time the seven members will release new music together since May 2022, when they dropped their self-titled EP “GOT7” with the title track “NANANA.”
Fans have been eagerly waiting for this moment, as the members had pursued various individual projects in the time since their last group release, including solo music, acting roles, and other personal ventures.
As GOT7 gears up for their much-anticipated return, fans are expressing their excitement and eagerly awaiting the upcoming release.
For now, fans can continue to enjoy the solo activities of the members, such as Jinyoung’s ongoing role in the drama “Yumi’s Cells 2” and Youngjae’s appearance in “Love & Wish.”
The group’s return is expected to be one of the major K-pop events of early 2025, and the anticipation is building rapidly among their loyal fanbase.
