Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon: Part Two — The Scargiver is set to premiere on Netflix soon, concluding Snyder’s latest cinematic adventure. Snyder first pitched Rebel Moon for the Star Wars universe, then adapted it into an original story with Netflix.
Last year, Rebel Moon: Part One — A Child of Fire introduced us to Kora, played by Sofia Boutella, who gathers warriors to defend her moon, Veldt, from the oppressive Motherworld.
In Rebel Moon, Admiral Atticus Noble, played by Ed Skrein, hunts down revolutionaries Darrian Bloodaxe, portrayed by Ray Fisher, and his sister Devra, played by Cleopatra Coleman.
The story unfolds as Noble demands grain from Veldt, leading Kora and her allies to stand up against him. Along the way, they meet smuggler Kai, played by Charlie Hunnam, and form a diverse team including former prince Tarak, deadly swordswoman Nemesis, and former Motherworld general Titus.

The plot thickens when Kai betrays Kora to Noble, but Gunnar, played by Michiel Huisman, intervenes, leading to a confrontation where Darrian sacrifices himself to take down a Motherworld gunship. After this intense battle, Kora seemingly defeats Noble, only for him to be resurrected by Motherworld priests, setting the stage for further conflict.
A Child of Fire goes into Kora’s past, revealing her tragic history with the Motherworld. Raised by Regent Balisarius as his daughter Arthelais, Kora was trained as a soldier and became the bodyguard to Princess Issa.
However, Issa’s murder led Kora to flee to Veldt, where she was adopted by the villagers. Despite this, the Motherworld continues to pursue her.
Additionally, the series introduces Jimmy, a mechanical knight voiced by Anthony Hopkins. After losing his purpose following Issa’s death, Jimmy finds renewed meaning defending Veldt. His role becomes more significant as he teams up with Kora to fight against the Motherworld’s forces.
Rebel Moon: Part Two promises to further explore Kora’s connection to the Motherworld and Jimmy’s evolution as a defender of Veldt. As the saga continues, fans can expect more action, intrigue, and epic battles in the fight for freedom.
