A fresh season full of unusual flavors and perilous run-ins with the law awaits Tickle, Richard, and the other illicit booze distillers when they return. Even though the show is almost 13 years old, with Jeremy Schwartz as the narrator, it still has a large fan base.
In the documentary-drama Moonshiners on Discovery, the lives of moonshine producers—who conduct covert distillations in the Appalachian Mountains of states like South Carolina, Virginia, and Kentucky—are the focus. The producers of alcoholic beverages carry out their covert operations every day, taking care to avoid drawing the notice of any nearby law enforcement officials.
Moonshiners is still one of the most streamed documentaries on Discovery, thanks to its innovative methods of making booze and exciting attempts to elude the law. There were a lot of fresh faces and beverages in the last season, but now it’s time for something far more serious for every group.

Let’s have a brief discussion on Josh Owens before moving on to Moonshiners Season 13 Episode 3. Josh Owens is one of those men who makes his life off of making moonshine, so you might not expect him to follow the rules. In addition to being a moonshiner and lumberjack, he also defines himself as a motorcyclist, inventor, father, daredevil, and dirt track racer.
However, one thing is certain: he likes to live dangerously. Josh’s luck, though, doesn’t seem to be holding up. Will he live? Recent reports indicate that he may have been in a serious accident.
Josh raced motocross professionally before joining Moonshiners. Naturally, he’s experienced a good number of near misses. He was racing in Florida in 2018 when the front tire of his bike blew apart. Josh suffered many fractures, including a broken collarbone, a punctured lung, and a broken shoulder blade.
But it doesn’t seem like he learned his lesson about tempting fate because he immediately went back on that bike after recovering. Josh was racing motorcycles in another race not too long ago. However, an egregious error occurred, causing him to crash at great speed into a wall.
Josh Owens suffered broken arms, legs, back, and neck injuries. The course of Josh’s life was precarious. He spent weeks in the ICU and had to have several procedures. I think the fact that he was uninsured was much worse. He may not live to see another season of Moonshiners, but that much is unknown for now.
To find Popcorn Sutton’s stainless steel still, which he last saw, Amanda follows an emancipated Digger. Richard and Mike’s strained partnership is in jeopardy when a demanding shiny boss demands money. Reentering the forest, Josh fixes his automobile.

Discovery will air Moonshiners Season 13 Episode 3 on January 16, 2024. The title of this episode is “Beer Before Liquor.” As of this writing, the first season has four scheduled episodes; however, we anticipate that there will be at least twenty episodes, just like in the prior seasons.
