About Married At First Sight [US]
The show, Married At First Sight, first aired on 8th July 2014 on FYI before it moved to Lifetime. There are seventeen seasons of the show, featuring over 200 episodes in total. The Lifetime show is produced by Chris Coelen, Eric Detwiler, and Montre Burton.
In the show, three to five couples get paired up by relationship experts. These couples agree to marry when they first meet; however, it’s a tricky thing to say. Because how can you know you are going to love spending your time with them for the rest of your life?
Thankfully, these couples are allowed to spend their wedding night in a hotel before they have to leave for their honeymoon in a beautiful location.
Once the honeymoons end and they have arrived at their homes, the couples must live together as a married couple for the remaining eight weeks which doesn’t sound that long. But it can be when your partner doesn’t fit your criteria for a dream partner.
Hence, once this period ends, the couples must choose whether they want to continue their relationship and stay married to each other, or if they want to go on their separate paths and get a divorce. With seventeen seasons, most of the couples choose the latter option. We can’t wait to see what happens with these seasons’ couples.
