On November 9, 2023, the 25th season of Big Brother came to an end, clocking 100 days in the season. However, it is remarkable that the Big Brother finale lasted for two hours. This change was made after the season had already begun to air.

When just three contestants were remaining in the house, the battle intensified rapidly. First up was an endurance test, which would decide who would get the first of two spots in the season’s last Head of Household competition.
Bowie Jane, Matt, and Jag were tasked with hanging on to a big inflatable ball above a pool of foam blocks while being doused with slime and rain. The winner was the one who managed to hang on the longest.

After Matt was guaranteed a spot in the final HOH competition, Jag faced off against Bowie Jane in a memory test. They were to set up signs with the names of all the competitions from the season and place them in the appropriate Big Brother Universe where the challenges originate.
Though it was a fairly simple memory test, neither of the houseguests fared well. Jag managed to win, but only because Bowie Jane managed to win in 90 minutes as opposed to Jag’s pathetic 62 minutes. Given that Jag and Matt allied nearly at the beginning of the season, it makes some sense that they were the final HOHs.
To everyone’s surprise, Matt kept Jag in the game even though he had been about to be evicted at one point early on. Matt had obtained a secret power to save someone, and he used it on Jag.
Similar to the last HOH, this one also tested their recall of the houseguests who were kicked out, which comprised the jury for this season. For the whole game, Matt and Jag were deadlocked, and Jag didn’t win the title of Head of Household until a very challenging tie-breaker question.
Bowie Jane tried her hardest to win Jag over, but he chose to respect his pledge and stick with his buddy and comrade, bringing Matt to the final two. Bowie Jane was beaming as she left and discussed Jag’s choice with host Julie Chen Moonves.
It came time for the final statements, and the guys went all out (or, at least, Jag did) after the jury asked their questions, with each member questioning the finalists about the specifics of their games.
First to speak was Matt, who explained his choices and how he overcame his deafness in a game that mainly relies on whispered secrets in a composed manner. It was a fascinating and sophisticated analysis of his gameplay.
It was now time to cast a ballot. And Jag Bains is the new Big Brother champion, having won by a vote of 5 to 2. Love was evident between Bains and Matt, who will receive the $75,000 runner-up prize, as Bains was overtaken with emotion upon being named the winner of the $750,000 main prize.
