In Bachelor in Paradise, the ninth season of ABC’s spinoff of The Bachelor and Bachelorette, all individuals who had a rough time, a failed romance, or were rejected by the major franchises have another chance at love by being imprisoned in a beach resort.
What a season it has been thus far: drama, hot, steamy, censored sex, self-eliminations, and even some egos getting wounded. All of these men and women are there with great hopes; they want to meet someone and possibly fall in love, but it’s not an easy task.

The power has flipped once more this week. In Paradise right now, there are ten men and just seven women. Thus, at least three men will return home. Kat Izzo and Brayden Bowers got off to a great start, but the registered nurse broke up with Brayden like a bad habit as soon as Tanner Courtad stepped up and asked her out. Brayden believes that he was “hustled.”
Kat took his rose and, like a praying mantis, chewed off his head. And he refers to her as a “man-eater.” Brayden is not agitated in any way. Show gratitude, Brayden. You were freed by her from a potentially disastrous relationship.
Another cute person descends the stairs. It’s John Henry Spurlock, who starred alongside Charity Lawson on Season 20 of The Bachelorette. He introduces himself to host Jesse Palmer and admits his nervousness. Kylee Russell is someone John Henry hopes to meet. What a popular girl Kylee is!
John Henry can weld underwater. One of the riskiest jobs in the world is that one. “I’m fine underwater in the dark,” he declares. But he’s scared of meeting all these gorgeous girls in bikinis and sipping margaritas. After giving him a date card, Jesse walks away.
Following a warm greeting on the beach, John Henry says, “Let’s get cheeky together,” as he unfolds his date card. Despite having come to meet Kylee, he chooses to take Olivia Lewis on a date after gathering Kat, Kylee, and Olivia Lewis for a conversation.
