The legend of Bigfoot continues to be one of the biggest mysteries of the world, and shows like Discovery’s Expedition Bigfoot aim to explore the truth behind these forgotten creatures.
Based in a remote away location in central Oregon, we see a group of courageous explorers, Mireya Mayor, Russell Acord, and Bryce Johnson, working together to spot unexplainable evidence that they believe could be the work of Bigfoot or an equally mysterious creature like a Sasquatch or Yeti.
With the narrator as Erik Thompson, each episode features the group targeting specific places and setting up cameras, recorders, and other specialized equipment to make sure that they’re able to obtain substantial evidence of what lurks in these dark places.
Now that Expedition Bigfoot has crossed four seasons, all sorts of evidence has been featured in the series. With Mireya’s primatologist background, Russell’s military experience, and Bryce’s ability to come up with strategic operations, each episode is filled with intrigue and excitement.
Expedition Bigfoot Season 4 Episode 6: Recap
In episode 6 of Expedition Bigfoot, we were able to come across a disturbing discovery, which led Ronny and Mireya to study it in person. One of the recorders they had left behind had recorded a strange series of sounds that neither of them could explain.
Mireya and Ronny immediately head over to the place to avoid the creature running away from the location and them missing out on finding out more about it. Meanwhile, Russell is deep in the swamp and forest to find out about another mysterious being.
While exploring, Russell comes across a cabin in the woods and decides to spend the night there. Right in the middle of his stay, he hears an intense banging on the window of the place.
Russell leaves the cabin since the aggressive behavior is a good indicator that something dangerous is present near him. Neither the cameraman nor Russell was able to look at what was responsible for the noise.
While exploring the mysterious sound, Mireya and Ronny come across an unidentified cemetery, but what was scarier about this new find was that all of the graves belonged to children. Ronny reveals a fact about Bigfoot, which says that Bigfoot usually occupies areas that are filled with sorrow.
Bryce is busy researching the area he was allotted, but what creeps him out the most is a set of screams that seem to be coming from a location near his base.
Locating the source of the sound becomes Bryce’s next task, but with the twigs, dead trees, and darkness all around him, the task becomes much harder. Bryce, Russell, and Mireya come across new scary evidence that they suggest could be the result of an unknown creature’s presence.

With the title being Nocturnal Nightmare, the upcoming episode of Expedition Bigfoot will be featuring the team heading over to Prince of Wales Island after their high-quality Bigfoot tracker is taken away.
To monitor other areas simultaneously, the Expedition team will be splitting up according to their skills. Russell and Mireya will be going over to the mainland, while Ronny is going to be staying back at the base.
