Zak Bagans’ The Haunted Museum returns with a new season this week, bringing all kinds of new stories revolving around the museum’s mysterious artifacts. The first season introduced us to the creepy dollhouse, the haunted chair, and the murderous mirror, to name a few.
Located in Las Vegas, The Haunted Museum is a dark place that’s filled with intriguing artifacts and other objects that are known to inhabit some kind of dark energy within them. Every single piece has traveled all over the world, bringing with it tales of horror and the supernatural.
Discovery’s The Haunted Museum series is all about these frightening objects, with each episode being inspired by the previous stories attached to the object’s history. While this Zac Bagans show is a dramatized version of the tales, this series does offer exciting short stories for all horror fans out there.
The Haunted Museum Season 1: Recap
Season 1 of this Zak Bagans series brought us a total of 9 terrifying stories, beginning with the Dollhouse of the Damned. A single father brings home a beautiful dollhouse for his child, only to find out that it may not be like any other normal toy.
The creepy Chair, which can be viewed at The Haunted Museum, was also a part of the first season, where we see a family buying the chair and facing grim consequences after the spirit attached to it tries to claim the soul of their son.
Another episode was of the haunted Tribal Statue, where a transporter taking the statue to its new home has one of the scariest journeys of his life.
The Murder Mirror showed a violinist coming across a stunning family heirloom, an antique mirror. An evil spirit was trapped within it the whole time, putting the violinist’s life in danger.
The creepiest of all episodes was the final episode of The Haunted Museum, which featured the Dybbuk Box. A professor comes across a Dybbuk box after a student hands it over to him.
While the professor first assumes that his student might have been on some kind of drugs in the beginning, once he starts living with the box, he realizes that the horrifying visions told by the student are true.
