As the contestants pass through the legs, the clues and tasks only seem more intriguing. The Amazing Race Australia returned with an all-new Celebrity Editon earlier this month, and despite having only a few episodes, it’s safe to say that the reality series is off to a great start.
Inspired by its American counterpart, The Amazing Race Australia follows 11 teams made up of pairs. This time, the teams are made of famous personalities and their partners or family members. To win almost A$100,000, the contestants would have to complete different legs within a short amount of time.
After starting in Delhi, India, the celeb teams now head over to Malaysia and Cambodia. This is the first time the pairs of The Amazing Race Australia will be in the picturesque yet challenging lands of Malaysia.
The cast was reportedly spotted in Penang back in June, and the upcoming episode will show exactly what kind of challenges they’ll be going through in the scenic Malaysian state. Beau Ryan will be hosting season 7.
The Amazing Race Australia Season 7 Episode 4: Recap
The remaining teams now head over to Malaysian lands, where they must drive themselves to Langkawi. Once they arrived at the hidden location, each pair had to choose between different kinds of detours.
While Eagle Eye would take them to a beach by parasailing, Mai Tai would involve using a surfboard to deliver drinks and go further into the challenge. Those who chose Eagle Eye would have to find a trinket of the same shape that they’ll be seeing in the middle of the ocean.
Ben and Jackie were the first ones to complete the Eagle Eye parasailing part, but since they failed to choose a similar trinket, they had to stay back and perform the whole task once again. Bec & Kate decided to go with Mai Tai since they had experience serving drinks.
George & Pam had been in the last place, making them go through a different challenge through Speed Bump, which involved collecting two bags full of trash to keep the beach nice and clean.
Once the teams completed Eagle Eye and Mai Tai, they had to go into a cave full of bats with all kinds of crawling insects. The next roadblock task was creating an exotic fruit hamper that matched the one given to them by the locals.
Jana & Cor ended up in the first place after his hamper decor was approved by the locals. Peter & Frankie are the duo to be eliminated after they are the ones to arrive late.

The race will continue with The Amazing Race Australia Season 7 Episode 5, which is set to come out on October 18, 2023. All-new episodes of The Amazing Race Australia are aired on Wednesdays and Thursdays, with each episode lasting for around 75-80 minutes.

With most of the entertaining parts of the race yet to be covered, episode 5 of The Amazing Race Australia will feature the aspiring contestants continuing the race without any breaks.
Following a day filled with mysteries and hidden clues, the teams will camp at the cozy beach and warm winds. After completing the challenges, the remaining teams head over to Penang, Malaysia, which is where the next elimination will be taking place.

Traveling between countries for every part of the race is undeniably challenging, but what’s more tough is seeing others overtake you just because of a minor mistake. That’s what most of this season’s contestants have faced in each of the challenges.
While the legs are only going to get tougher, some of the celebrity contestants already seem to be prepared for anything that’s coming their way.
