Jackson Square, formerly known as the Place d’Armes or Plaza de Armas, Voodoo Authentica Inc. at 612 Dumaine Street, Lafitte’s Blacksmith Shop Bar at 941 Bourbon Street, Preservation Hall at 726 Street Peter, Tulane University at 6823 St. Charles Avenue, and the Napolean House at 500 Chartres Street were among the other places the production crew set up camp.
Additionally, Lafayette Cemetery No. 1 at 1427 Washington Avenue, Royal Street, and the Crescent City Connection were used to film several exterior sequences for “Haunted Mansion.”
Metro Atlanta, Georgia
‘Haunted Mansion’ was also filmed in a sizable amount of Metro Atlanta, also known as the Atlanta metropolitan area. One of the main production locations was Atlanta, which serves as the economic, cultural, and demographic hub of the metropolitan area.
According to reports, the filming crew moved throughout Atlanta and captured several significant sequences against appropriate backgrounds. In addition to using Atlanta, the production team also made the most of Trilith Studios’ resources at 461 Sandy Creek Road in Fayetteville.
The majority of the interior shots of the haunted mansion were shot on the studio’s sound stage. The film studio, which is located close to Atlanta’s international airport, has 24 different sound stages with a variety of possibilities and flexibility in terms of size and function.
