The Masked Singer Australia is a regional variant of the popular American singing competition show in which celebrities put on fancy costumes and perform songs in front of a live audience and a panel that tries to figure out who they are.
Hosted by Mel B, Chrissie Swan, Abbie Chatfield, and Dave Hughes and hosted by Osher Gunsberg, the show managed to grab a lot of traction and was renewed for a fifth season.
Now, in four episodes, we have a tight competition in which, by far, three people have been eliminated with their identities revealed; these are Fawn (Sandra Sully), Crash Test Dummy (Brian Austin Green), and Bad Avocado (Summer Wayne).
But who is next, who is at risk, and what is ahead in this competition as the clues become evident and the performances are even more stunning.
Who Is Participating This Season?
This season has several celebrity contestants disguised as Bluebottle, Bouncer, Burger Gal, Cowgirl, Grim Reaper, Orca, Snow Fox, Space Fairy, The Captain, Tiny, Bad Avocado, Fawn and Crash Test Dummy.
The Masked Singer Australia Season 5 Episode 3 Recap
This episode kicked off with a few clues from the participants that the panel is trying to figure out. We see some scenes with the public interacting, and then we move on to the first performance of the night, by Grim Reaper, singing “Unholy” by Sam Smith and Kim Petras; the judges put the “safe” tag on him/her.
Then it was Bad Avocado’s turn, who sang Coldplay’s hit song “Yellow,” but the judges put them at risk, so Bad Avocado had to duel Space Fairy, whose performance of Elvis Presley’s classic hit “Always on My Mind” wasn’t very convincing.
After that, Cowgirl sang Miley Cirus’s hit single “Flowers,” getting the “safe tag”
In the duel, Space Fairy and Bad Avocado had to sing “Born to Be Wild” by Steppenwolf. When it all was sung and, Space Fairy got the “safe” tag, and Bad Avocado was revealed to be Summer Wayne.
